I expect Fury's workrate to cause a TKO by mid rds, his punching skills will be pivotal in this fight. McMuffin is nothing special and certainly not champ material.

I expect Fury to win but this is a step up for an unproven prospect and if you remember what Mcdermot did to pele reid just over 12 months ago he is defo capable of pulling off an upset.
PS I know Reid's not that great but he is fast and heavy handed. and a onetime prospect
and many thought he'd beat Mcdermot.

I was ringside. He just bulldozed him completely in that ugly Skelton way. Mcdermott looked petrified.

Fury takes this early - KO2

Think big john might be a bit intimidated by furys rep (not justified yet) and become a bit gun shy with fury teeing off on him for a early to mid round stoppage.

Caught him with a good left-right and dumped him, McDermott got up but he was gone ("He's gone, Jim!") and got clubbed down another couple times I think.

Adam Smith with more blatant nuthuggery.

Apparently Macca is upset at the criticism of his weight - how tall is he, 6'3'' ish?

Exactly. Fury should be bowling over guys like this with his advantages. I want to see fury challenge for the british and finally begin his developement as a fighter at euro and world level. He isnt going to get much out of fighting guys like mcdermott aside from how to wrestle and survive.

    Totally agree :good

Even with the 3 point deduction and 1 possible 10-8 round in McDermott's favour, the fight was still Williams. It was close, only because of the points taken away, but Williams still won.

Wasn't McDermott going through some personal problems in the build up to the Skelton fight? I'm sure I read that his newly born son had died in hospital that day.
