Fury has vastly improved since then, and Opetaia simply hasn't been tested. Maybe a few years time he'd have a good shot, but by then Fury will be well past it.
he was staggering for a couple rounds afterwards. if cunningham had any power, fury's career ends there.
because he had no power, but he still almost ko'd fury. thus showing why fury fought as infrequently as possible, against old men and bums when he did.
I’d give Opetaia a chance against any heavyweight in the world, including Usyk. He could absolutely beat Fury. His speed and power give him every opportunity. I think his chin is outstanding but he does take some shots so that is the question mark. However, Fury doesn’t really hit that hard and would have to accumulate a lot of shots to take down Opetaia. Opetaia does unequivocally hit harder than Usyk though, so if Usyk can rock Fury then Opetaia can absolutely put him to sleep. Opetaia’s form around Briedis and Massey tells you that he is a live chance against any living human.
