I forgot all about this thread and I started it. ld I said yesterday even I thought Price would beat Fury. But after seeing what happens when Price takes a paw shot in the pro ranks, I don't think Price will get very far unless he changes up the whole game. He got dropped plenty of times in the amateurs. But the problem is, taking those punches in the first place! If he can evolve and mature like Wlad did, then he might recover and do good things. I won't jump the gun on Fury because he hasn't exactly fought anyone yet either. But we HAVE seen him be put on his arse, get up and recover. And that punch was a heavyweight punch, that thing yesterday, well, I don't know what that was.
I think the biggest difference between Price and Fury is .. Fury is a fighter, born fighter and doesn't mind taking shots ... if a fist so much as breezes past Price's face he looks as though he's **** himself.Read an interview recently aswell where Price was saying he hated being hit as a youngster ... don't think much has changed...but yeah anyway what am I saying, the punch he took off Thompson would have stopped a tank.
Since this prediction I've actually bothered to take a look at some of Fury's recent fights and been impressed with his progress whilst seeing Price knockout some OAP's. I would like to formally change my pick
Bwahaha this guy is Nostredamus. 4 words not even making a sentence turned out to be the exact way the fight on Saturday panned out.
Have they fought like? I must have missed it... Price still has FAR more talent than Fury, unfortunately he probably doesn't have the mental strength to beat him.
I still ,think this is a very interesting fight,I think Price has a lot more than he showed last time out.......if I am wrong then there is obviously only one winner!
