Exactly - in isolation it's a pretty good fight, and there's obviously the narrative interest of it being a former Joshua opponent. The context of scuppering a potential Joshua and Usyk fight within a few months of each other is on him, and as a result, this fight is pretty disappointing.
It's a **** fight I agree with that but being 1-1 when the dude stopped you but you didn't stop him cannot be considered leftovers
I can already picture Fury doing the hands behind the back trick and the matador motion against the immobile blubberball and it’s sending me to sleep
I’ve seen this on a few Facebook posts today too!! Surely this can’t happen, didn’t chisora beat Pulev?
My biggest fear in this fight, is the esclation of jibes between the AJ and Fury simps, then the inevitable smugness based on result of one camp and denial of the other.
here’s 2023-24 mapped out Fury: “I beat Andy Ruiz better than Joshua” Wilder: “I beat Andy Ruiz better than Joshua and Fury” Jared Anderson: “I beat Andy Ruiz better than Joshua, Fury and Wilder”
