Seems an easy tickover for Fury. An obese little grinning Mexican with cement feet and a glass jaw.

Does Fury get any credit for KOing the guy who KOd Joshua? Not from me but the resume crowd will love the name…

    Wilder
    Whyteleafe
    Chisora
    Ruiz
    USKY
    Joyce

Not a bad run to end a career as undefeated lineal undisputed.. thoughts?

Fury had 2 people in the ring after his last fight and he isn't going to fight either of them by the looks of it

Would’ve been fine if he’d fought him instead of Chisora for example, but the context of the last few months mean it’ll look like a poor opponent in comparison to Usyk or even Joshua.

I don’t think it’ll sell particularly well either.

Glass jaw? He took some bombs off Joshua in the first fight.

Ruiz's chin looks fragile since the weight loss, but Fury isn't much of a puncher, still heavyweight boxing. Not a bad fight on paper but it won't be competitive.

If this fight had been in December opposed to Delboy I would have been quite happy to be honest.

This as his massive summer fight.... no thank you.

Not the one I wanted but could be worse.

It's an OK fight, but the size difference would make it really difficult for Ruiz. If he's feet were as fast as his hands maybe he'd have a chance but I can't see it as things stand.
Ruiz has been hurt a few times in his last few fights, could see Fury stopping him to be honest, but it's OK fight against a decent operator.
    I'd watch it.
I think Fury is slowing down a bit he looked slow on his feet VS Whyte, but Whyte's feet were encased in concreate. Maybe that's what Fury is looking for now. Mobility advantages against whoever he faces.

It would be a much worse version of Ruiz Jr than the one Joshua fought, where he had only recently come off a win over Rudenko. He was dropped by Christoph Areola and if he fights Fury in the summer, would have been out of the ring for more than 1 and a half years.

Hmm.. well Ruiz was a last minute replacement who only had 6 weeks between fighting Joshua and *Dimitrenko.

I do think that night was likely the apex of Ruiz' career, but let's not pretend that Ruiz didn't also have his disadvantages going into the first Joshua fight.

He fought Dimitrenko before AJ and fought Ortiz in September last year.

Ruiz would be Fury's the most proven opponent since Wlad.

Good fight. Obviously it would have been better to see Fury fight Usyk but seems Fury has no intention of fighting guys the level of Usyk and AJ.

AJ is easy and at the same time protected to the max.

Fury anywhere near his best beats Ruiz easily imo.wouldn’t watch it though personally as it bores the life out of me.
