To be fair what was it up against? Wilder hasn't done any PPV's and which American champions have there been? Briggs? Who had zero successful defences. Before him I think it was probably Rahman Maskaev?
It was a big fight but they came out afterwards complaining. Sure they said upwards of 10 millions suspected to have watched it but illegally.
Yes there are far more watching PPV boxthing without forking out these days due to the relentless advances in technology.
I don't often agree with you but think you're spot on here. The value of having Sky back you is absolutely huge. I see Sky are going with the line of 'Liverpool vs Tottenham and then Joshua vs Ruiz a few hours after - what a fantastic night of sport' to help get around the late start. The CL final will definitely add a few extra thousand viewers, they must've been delighted at last week's results. Fury is my favourite HW and I won't be waiting up until the small hours to see this (whilst paying for the privilege). BT are trying to push this fight on social media, but it's not nearly the same backing as having Sky in your corner.
Defiantly have to agree with you here. Having sky backing you is whole different gravy to any of the others, here in u.k
Just had a look for the undercard of this PPV classic next week. There isn’t one! There’s Barrera vs Hart (which could be decent to be fair) but after that there’s nothing, not even a TBA? Anyone have any info on this?

No way am I paying for this. Absolutely ridiculous to charge ppv for it. The main support is decent but nothing else to tempt me to part with my money.
