    All fair points.

Without wanting to look for excuses however, it's clear that Fury's camp wasn't ideal and however much he protested otherwise, he was facing someone he annihilated in his previous fight.

Fury isn't stupid. He will know precisely how special a talent Usyk is. He also has perhaps the best coach in the world to exploit the reach and power advantages he has.

Finally, yes his ego was on the line against Wilder and would be against AJ, but Fury also prides himself on his skill as a boxer. He would not want to be made to look second rate in that regard any more than he would want to be outfought by someone. So Usyk's unique skillset may get Fury focussed on the technical challenge.

All ifs, buts and maybes of course. Could lead to a fight for the purists rather than the ding dong craziness we witnessed the other night.

That's true - Fury didn't have a good camp and I think it showed. But after winning the second fight so easily I think he struggled with motivation. If Fury is motivated and in peak shape, like I said I agree he has all the advantages - but if we get a slow, unmotivated Fury I'm going with Usyk.

As much as I admire Usyk for what he has achieved, I just think the Fury fight will be a step too far for him, whilst he will put up a decent argument, Fury's sheer size and weight will at some point overpower him.

How do you know Usyk doesn't know how to fight? Usyk never really needed to dug deep and gut it out because he's that good.
Fury had to do it on many occasions becuase he's not as good a boxer as people make him out to be.

He even admitted that Cunningham was a better boxer than him and he had no chance of winning untill he started getting physical.

Cunningham was a good fighter however he was clearly past his prime when he fought Fury and Usyk is better at everything.

A fit and motivated Fury should beat Usyk comfortably if not stop him. Usyk is class and I’ve followed him since he went pro but, beating Joshua with all his flaws is one thing but actually being able to beat Fury is another thing completely. If Usyk was able to beat Fury that would have to rank right up with the best of wins ever .
