Fury vs Usyk or Usyk vs Fury

Fury is regarded as the best HW in the world. Usyk is regarded as the best p4p fighter in the world. What do you value more? Pound for pound or just being flat out the best fighter?

I love the lower weights (at least 126 and above), but at the end of the day the HW champ is the man. The man who destroys all man. It starts and ends with the HW champ of the world. Top of the food chain.

 

This shouldn't even be a question. Fury is the cash cow.

 

"Who's name comes first on the billing" is by far the most ridiculous thing boxers get hung up on.

They should just default it to alphabetical to save the tantrums.

 

Usyk doesn't seem to care about that type of stuff. So let Fury have it. One less obstacle to negotiate.

The only fair solution is each fighter gets one of their names first. That would be confusing however so all the letters will need to be jumbled up and the fighters will change their name by deed poll. I can't wait for:

AYLRKDESRFUNO vs SYKTOUSNYK

 

Work it out; Usyk will be the defending Lineal/Ring/WBA Proper/WBO/IBF champion.

Usyk walks to the ring last, Fury's name is announced last.

 

This is like that daft situation with the credits for The Towering Inferno where McQueen's name appeared first if you read it from left to right and Newman's appeared first if you read it from top to bottom.

That was to satisfy two egos (particularly McQueen's) but I think this is different.

I doubt Usyk would particularly care but if it is an issue they should call it Fury vs Usyk (I think that sounds better) and have Fury enter the ring first and be announced first.

But Fury will probably object to that and threaten to retire with his dad calling everyone political *******s.
