Fury vs Usyk was competitive. Joshua vs Usyk was not. Stop equating them!

In this I feel there is a fair amount of similarities, and some subtle differences...

For the record here are my scores for the 3 fights

    AJ 1 - 116-112
    AJ 2 - 117-111
    Fury - 116-111

Although AJ 2 is regarded as being more competetive, even on multiple viewings I feel Joshua was closer in rounds, but lost more of them, as Usyk stepped up his game too. In the first Usyk had a bit of a lull rounds 4-6 that he didn't have in the 2nd fight.

There are some similarities - AJ looked like he might have had Usyk in some trouble round 9, and Usyk promptly came back and had his best round in 10. Fury had his best round in 6, with some big shots, but then Usyk adjusted and accelerated away in 7-9.

Usyk could have had AJ stopped in round 12 of the 1st fight, and he SHOULD have had the stoppage in round 9 against Fury.

The only thing to me that stands out as a real difference, is that Fury seemed to have momentum and bossed Usyk rounds 5 & especially 6, which AJ never really achieved.

But in my book, there's really not a hill of beans difference between AJ and Fury's attempts. Maybe there will be more difference after Fury's 2nd attempt if he takes the chance...
