If Fury beats Wilder uncontroversially then it is big news, he'll have to be considered the favourite against anyone who enters the ring with him for the forseeable future - in my opinion.

Love him or hate him (I don't like him, personally)... if he is undefeated, and that includes beating Klitschko's reign AND then beating a reigning champion who is 40-0 (39KO) then no matter how you cut it, he is a force to be reckoned with.

Maybe, but Fury has fought Seferi and Pianeta is the last 3 years, 3 years, 3 years..

And his performances before that (although not amazing) still have to be questioned because of his failed tests.

I agree, I'm not sold on Wilder whatsoever.

If Fury had come back, maybe fought Seferi (I'll let him have that one) then maybe a Bryant Jennings or Andy Ruiz and then maybe Pulev..

Something like that I would be more open to the idea, I would, depending on his performances, would give Fury more of a chance.

But Seferi just quitting and then being dragged the distance by Pianeta in a really boring fight isn't a good look and I have no idea how Fury is now BETTER than he was before.

Fury is in no way better than he was before. I was sort of assuming that he'd regain his best form in my post. Usyk vs "Pianeta Fury" is a beat down of TF.

I agree, that's my problem with these "Fury schools Wilder" and "Fury KO's Wilder" posts/threads, I've seen absolutely nothing in recent years to prove or even suggest Fury beats any of the top heavyweights right now.

I will concede his size and reach could cause a couple of problems but Fury doesn't punch hard enough, he can get hit, he did when Klitschko finally let his hands go.

Fury isn't Willie Pep but he is talked about like he is the heavyweight version.

And now on here Fury beating Usyk with ease, basically because he is tall with long arms.

I'm just not seeing it, I'm not seeing this "Heavyweight Mayweather" people are claiming he is.

Until we see Fury against Wilder, and see where he is at, its Usyk by a wide and clear decision for me.

Furys two comeback fights told us nothing and for all we know he is completely shot, and Deontay is going to be bouncing his head off the canvas like a basketball.

If that happens then everyone here will be backing Usyk.

We shouldnt make the same mistakes we made with Haye's comeback again with Fury. Haye only faced 2 stiffs, and was in truth completely and utterly shot. It could be the same situation with Fury, who has also only faced 2 stiffs.
