Purse bids don't usually include rematch clauses. The winner just gets to stage the fight. It's a one-off situation.
In a video a few months back Fury guarenteed he would defend his belt againt Whye. And yet all the ninnys on here were moaning about how he wouldn't. Guess what, the gypo is a man of his worth (most of the time).
A little bit of common sense can work that out US fight = Needs Andy Ruiz Jr UK fight = Needs Whyte or he's not making any money. Wilder money has long gone. Usyk fights will make ok money but Saudi's will probably make it pay. Going from a walking heavybag in Whyte to Usyk is quite a jump though.
I'm not convinced Usyk makes it out of an AJ rematch yet so lets see. Regardless, out of all the fights this promises to have the best built up and hype, by some distance and it's about time Fury fought on home soil.
Purse bids don't have rematch clauses, you are thinking of if they come to an agreement before a purse bid.
What can AJ bring different the 2nd time around that will catch Usyk off guard? AJ has enough skill and size that opponents need to adjust not the other way around. AJ, doesn't adjust well. He seems to only be confident when he trains in a certain style. Make him feel the need to change during a fight and the wheels fall off. He only has 2 options, go all out early on or box.
He will go into the fight all guns blazing in the rematch, in my view and either go out on the shield or lose.
I agree, problem AJ has in this fight is he can't outbox Usyk like he did that blob Ruiz which means he has to do something else and as you accurately pointed out he doesn't adjust well. If he trains and prepares to come in and launch an assault on Usyk maybe he can get it done, but I wouldn't bet on it. If he tried that and failed this time he'd get stopped later in the fight.
Christ. Whatever. Just make something happen. I used to oppose this matchup, now I'll just settle for anything. If I was successfully manipulated into wanting this fight, so be it. I am curious how Fury will fight. Will he use his new aggressive style or his classic backfoot style?
Interesting. I'd wager being on the back foot. Keep him at range and yourself away from Whytes left hook bomb. Apart from a single shot I can't see Fury losing if he fights defensively.
