I suspect a lot of this is down to the WBC messing about as usual. So it was reported by newspapers that within the WBC rules the interim champion would get 45% against the champion in the event of the fight. Then a matter of days later the clause vanishes from their rules, and the the fight hasn't gone to purse bids
We get it, you don't like Fury. Change it up and write something that's not totally bias in the other direction.
We get it. Fury is your idol. Think outside the box and actually debate the facts on your fraudulent hero instead of ignoring the facts and changing the subject.
Except for the facts that 45% is what the Interim champion is supposed to get. If Fury actual wanted the fight, he would negotiate instead of trying to duck the fight. AJ has overpaid a lot of guys, just to make the fight. And he damn sure would not given up the belt over a %. No real champion would do that
Biased, you mean. Let the guy have his opinion. He's a good member of the board. He works hard to keep his 7 accounts running simultaneously.
Even if he is OK with 30%, Fury and his team would not do it. They do not want the fight. They are trying to set up a tune up bum fight in March then after that, they will try and skip the mandatory and go straight for the Usyk AJ winner. Thus ducking Whyte by saying that unification trumps mandatory. I see this very clearly and so does Hearn.
People talking about Whyte going for reasonable purse his fights on ppv have done extremely well in the UK probably as good if not better than Fury's would do over here so why shouldn't he ask for a fair deal
It's funny to see Warren commenting that "Fury has to fight in March" or something. He said the same thing over a year ago when Fury was supposed to fight Kabayel in December 2020. The money wasn't there and they cancelled it despite Warren repeatedly implying that Fury's "mental health issues" require that he fights in December 2020. "It's what everyone with Tyson thinks is best for him".
Whyte is one of the highest earned in the HW division. People are talking out of their *** as usual, because their bias for Fury. Whyte has solid PPV history as well. Hearn/Whyte will most probably not agree to anything below 35%. Hearn own words are, that Whyte is fighting for the WBC title and this is his next match. It's up to see if his opponent going to be Fury or he will duck out and drop the belt. Hearn also said that if they are not happy with the WBC split(they are still waiting for them to say what the split it's going to be), they will just go for purse bid. Fury team obviously won't be happy with purse bid. There is only one side that doesn't want the fight, and that side is team Fury. The fight was ordered already, so it's either Fury vs Whyte for the WBC or Whyte vs whoever is in place(obviously we all know this is going to be the stupid ***** Wilder). So Fury fans should start living in reality. Fury either going to face Whyte or he has to duck the fight and drop the belt. The fight has already been ordered so there is no chicken way out !!! And yeah Interim - Champion split is 45-55%. They recently(aka for Whyte, cause they love him very much) remove this rule from their book, but we will wait and see what split they will ordered. I doubt they will be happy with another lawsuit from team Whyte.
If Fury drops the WBC belt, the Fury-Usyk/AJ Winner fight, even a non-unification, would make a ton more money than Whyte/Wilder or Whyte/Usyk(AJ). Fury is the kingmaker right now because he's an undefeated lineal champion that casual fans will tune in to watch. If Whyte wants the belt, he should take whatever the split is, win the fight, and cash in on a rematch or unification fight. Whyte demanding such a heavy cut of the split tells me he knows he can't win and better cash out now.
If Fury not fighting Whyte, makes it easier to make the Fury vs Usyk/AJ mega fight/s, what do you care? Are you telling me you'd prefer to see Fury fight Whyte over that?
If Fury is stupid enough to decide to drop the WBC belt(i don't believe he will do it), he will actually lose tons of money. Cause no one will met his 50-50 demand. This will be the first undisputed fight since 1999. And Fury is still miles and i mean miles behind AJ in terms of a draw. If AJ wins the title from Usyk, do you even believe AJ will go after Fury or he do a huge UK showdown with the WBC Champion, if it's Whyte for example. Usyk also said his goal is to become Undisputed. And business doesn't work the way you are trying to describe it. Of course he would try to squeeze the maximum he can. He got to be a complete imbecile to not do so. Everyone on his place will do so. And Whyte fancy his chances, but he and Hearn ain't stupid. They will be more than happy if Fury decide to drop the belt. Actually this will be way better for Hearn, cause even if AJ lose, he still can make a mega fight between AJ and Whyte .... And AJ could still end up being a Champ, even if he lose to Usyk .... So Hearn/Whyte will 100% keep on their demand. Again if they are not happy with the cut from WBC, they will just go to purse, and Fury team don't want that, but they have no option, either fight or drop the belt. Whyte pretty much have all the cards in this one.
