Why wouldn't Wilder want the third fight, he has nothing to lose, no title, reduced respect (that heavy ring attire excuse etc), so cash out with a sizeable wedge in his bank account and live life damned comfortably. Wilder knows he has just one weapon that can at least dent Fury, so throw that bomb from the first bell, you never know it might find a susceptible target, ya got nothing to lose and a lot to gain. If Wilder does not fight Fury again he 100 per cent will not regain his belt, if he faces Fury then he has a chance, albeit a very slim one. The longer time the fight takes to come to fruition, the more time Fury has to return to his own personal destructive lifestyle, hoping he doesn't and don't think he will, but always that risk.
What's the point. Wilder won something like 20 seconds being in the ring with Fury for like 19 rounds.
Wilder won seven rounds on an official judge's card in fight one and scored two knockdowns and two rounds on an official judge's card in the second fight and was dropped twice himself. So, between the two fights, Fury has won - on official cards - 10 rounds and Wilder has won 9, and both have scored two knockdowns a piece. It's a tossup as to who wins the third fight. They'll probably both hit the deck again. Even if Wilder backed out, Whyte isn't going to fight Fury in December. Joshua isn't going to fight Fury in December. The only reason so many Wilder haters don't want this fight to happen is they know Wilder can win. They'd rather Fury stay inactive and sit out until next year than fight Wilder a third time. Wilder is going to mess up everything for the Brits all over again when he wastes Fury in December and Dominic Breazeale (I mean Whyte) next spring. They can see it coming ... plain as day. Deontay Wilder ... World Champ.
The only weirdos around here are the guys saying Wilder only won a few SECONDS in both fights and Fury shouldn't fight him again. Cowards.
Uh, the first fight was a robbery. In every poll, 85%-95% of viewers agree. Wilder WAS GIFTED those rounds. In two fights, he WON two. He might be killed in this third fight, and, whereas I don't wish that on anybody, after his talk of killing someone in the ring, it would certainly be cosmic reciprocal justice.
Fury has already explained that the money is right, and that is what he cares about. I hope it doesn't come off, but I have no doubt that Fury will take it. By the way, I think in the end the money won't be right, because of lack of interest. But we shall see.
