Anyone could buy the PPV, you didn’t need to be subscribed to BT , I watched it at my girlfriends we bought the PPV she doesn’t have any subscription to BT

I think the first point you make is pretty much just the same as mine. I doubt anyone thinks any serious number of people will watch Fury Schwarz at 5AM or whenever it is, but to a fairly well oiled Warrington Galahad audience you can probably flog a few thousand. Bottom line is it's more money if you say 'give us twenty quid and get the Fury fight as well' than 'stay up until dawn to watch Fury for free.'

Do we have any source by the way for the 450k other than Mr Boar Meat Sandwich himself?

None that I'm aware of. To be honest that's the strongest argument against this being a genuine figure because it's such a strong number that I'd expect it to be quoted by BT Sport themselves. They've had a tough time since the change of CEO and a lot of questions asked about their sports operation by the wider business.

If true, this figure would put them very much on the map and point to a lucrative new revenue stream from BT Sports Box Office. Businesses, particularly those which are embattled divisions of larger corporations, are rarely shy of shouting about good news.

I'm inclined to believe the 'total' number idea suggested above. Which I would stay is still a decent performance given the situation going into the fight.

Completely different. Fury's profile has skyrocketed since his mental health problems.

The MEN was pretty much sold out for a fight against a bum in Seferi.

There was a definite buzz on his return but I think the real uplift has come in the aftermath of the Wilder fight.

the fight was a flop in terms of attendance at the actual fight. On the door they gave away tickets to firemen, colleges, university students and corporates some where free!!

The figure from BT sport was never disclosed from what i seen officially. Tyson is being dilusional he was misinformed trying to big himself up like he keeps telling us about this "fight me for the Linear Championship" he thinks he has a belt which none of us have EVER seen.
