Maybe it is better that us boxing fans move on from Tyson Fury, forget about this waste of a champion, and concentrate on Anthony Joshua, or the smaller guys. I am being honest, that is why I do not participate in hypothetical bouts involving Fury, he never fights. It is like we are all adult grown men watching cartoons, Popeye vs Spiderman every Saturday morning if they were still on television. Maybe if we concentrate on other worthy fighters, Fury will just go away, never come back, or just maybe he will miss the attention and come back, ready to fight.
some fans come to the sport for the soap opera now. they love that out the ring drama. i prefer my drama in the ring.
We should make a title for a new soap opera for those two called, Love Me Or Leave Me, starring Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.
its like a reality show instead of boxings hw division. guys like inoue and canelo have had a whole other career in the time these 2 have been slap fighting through social media.
And Wilder is ready ? get over yourself. Fury was 273 pounds against Wilder last year and beat his ass. He also came off of a 2 year layoff of abusing his body, had 2 absolutely abysmal level tune ups for their first fight and STILL outboxed Wilder and got robbed or did you just throw that under the rug ? Wilder had headphones in the entire press conference and refused to answer any questions LOL, he's mentally in shambles and has been making outlandish excuses ever since he got washed in their rematch. Wilder looks good on the pads with his combinations but when Fury starts pounding his face in Wilder will collapse and will revert back to his usual one punch mentality. Also who's in awe of Fury ? Who said he's invincible ? I have literally criticised him in multiple threads if you haven't noticed and used to be one of the only ones who claimed Fury is overrated and is wrongly seen in the public eye as the second coming of jesus christ. What you think is fanboyism is actually objectivity. Wilder is overrated and Fury is even more overrated after beating him
I guess I was wrong about you being a fury fanboy (as I've now seen some of your past posts on him), but I do think you're wrong in underestimating Wilder. He wore headphones to block out Fury from sh*t talking & because he couldn't be bothered to answer question. Yes he got his ass beat & he then what on to make a lot pathetic excuses - but the man seems like he finally knows how to beat Fury. He was stupid far underistimating Fury 2x - the 1st time being that be was overconfident & too comfortable with his power; & going into the 2nd fight, he got gassed after he dropped Fury 2x (despite getting outboxed for most of the fight). He no longer underestimate Fury (which he shouldn't have in the first place & shows his lack of Ring IQ & Adaptability). He's a threat. Fury & his team know this.
Wilder wore headphones because he couldn't be bothered to answer questions? WTF are you talking about, when has Wilder ever been quiet and reserved he walks into a room screaming bomb squad all the time. He posts video of himself making bizarre monologues which make no sense he clearly loves the sound of his own voice. He didn't want to engage with Fury because Fury would of beat him worse verbally than he did physically in the last fight.
He slipped off of his cracker again, not by natural mental illness but the drug induced kind, Time to grow up, what kind of example is that for the youth of today. He chose to be in the spotlight, so he chose to be an example. It is not just the parents responsibility, Fury made it his too. If he is not well, vacate the title again, then get help, go cold turkey.. Nobody put a gun to his heard to use drugs if that is the case.
I'll give Wilder a slightly better chance that last time because this time he'll expect an agressive Fury and he'll at the very least be throwing more combinations. But i just don't see it. I just don't think he can pull it off. Wilder has the right idea. One way to beat someone as elusive as Fury is to throw more than one punch at a time. You can't just throw single punches to the head against this man becsuse he's developed his elite head movement over the years. This is the same mistake Klitschko made against Fury in addition to staying on the outside and trying to swap jabs with him. You have to keep your construct, walk Fury down, touch him up in the body with jabs and whatever else you can land. Slow him down, mix the shots up. Sneak uppercuts in the clinches, at least try and outwork him. Easier said than done obviously but somebody like Aj might pull this off. Prime Lennox Lewis definitely would, prime Riddick Bowe has a good chance. Holyfield could, Vitali might. I just dont think Wilder can do it. He wouldn't even be able to walk Fury down and thats the simplest part, Fury's inside game is classes above Wilders. Even his combination punching is better from what i can tell, Wilder's still dangerous though so credit to him if he beats Fury if they even fight
I really like your post, but it will be excuse after excuse, Fury will never fight, he is not the Gypsy King but the Drama Queen, Lol.
We know it hurts so bad he beat your king 2x that you have to make up useless nonsense like "fist in the wrist" so you can cope.
