If you are in a state to watch boxing at 5am in Amsterdam you are doing it wrong.

 

Yes all the perverts in the porn cinema will certainly accommodate your request to put away sticky peckers and watch the boxing for an hour.

 

You will not give a flying fegguck about that fight after a few hours in the Dam....It will probably a stink fest anyway while you are watching barmaids pouring beer with their bits

 

Get drunk and stoned, put all spending money on a ludicrous first round KO bet whichever way you fancy, pass out and miss the fight; can't afford any hookers, food or fun for the rest of the trip and have a miserable time feeling like a dunce.

I think after an evening of carousing the Wilder/Fury bout would prove to be a fine sedative.

 

My experience of Amsterdam wasn’t what I hoped. Went with the missus on a booze cruise from Hull. Drank till 2am, woke us up at 6am, dumped us in Amsterdam at 10.30am, hungover, tired and dazed. My missus didn’t want to see the ladies in the window, didn’t want to partake in any form of drug taking or marvel at the 14inch dildo’s in the shop windows (you don’t see them in the John Lewis in Trafford Centre). I didn’t want to go in the Anne Frank place cos let’s face it, she had no real say in the decor. Should be named after her dad who did most of the DIY. She didn’t want to go in sex museum.
We ended up sitting in a bar drinking until they picked us back up at 5pm.

I think the moral of this experience is to never, ever go Amsterdam with your missus...especially if she’s a prude.

 

When I started reading your second sentence and saw "went with the missus.."

My immediate thought was "this isn't ending well"

 

Twenty that would devastate me mate lol. I took my Mrs there for her 30th, id only known her for 2 month's at the time. She was worried about the gear, Mushrooms and that, i said " don't worry I been here loads, lost count how many times ive done mushrooms with the lads, i'll look after you"...Famous last words mate. I ended up doing too much mushrooms and convinced myself the bar tender( we were the only ones in this back street bar) was gonna kill us, so like a man, I bolted...Never ever again

 

Haha, superb. Sounds like your girlfriend at the time was much more open to it. My missus frowned every time she could smell weed. It was like being with Mary Poppins. She keeps me reigned in to be fair.

 

Sticking to the chocolate shops in Brugge next time mate, or some countryside walk in the Lakes. Just not worth the agro.

 

I got 2 kids with her now mate. Lesson learned though, Amsterdam is strictly for the lads

BT have let out some details today about how to order it. If you order to watch online while in the uk you can watch it in the EU. Can also chromecast it so if hotel tv has hdmi port you can even watch it on big screen in your room.

Although quite why anyone would wanna do that at about 7am on a sunday in Amsterdam...
