How many "next weeks" have there been now since they originally announced it?

I think it borders on the number of next weeks that I promised to clean out the cellar by now.

The fight will take place in a gypsy caravan park I heard. Billy Joe saunders and his boys, will be entertaining the homeless, and the crackpots. Then the bomb squad will arrive with the big entourage and Haymon's gangsters. The devastating bronze bomber will be the last one to arrive. Some close sources tell me, he will be arriving by helicopter. What a show it's going to be!

But my question was a genuine one as I can't recall a promotional tour for a fight with no date or venue. Now you may well be right and those details will be announced on Monday but the way Warren was talking suggests those key details have not been finalised:

To me, that reads like nothing has been settled, apart from the first part of the quote which is ambiguous and could be interpreted as suggesting a deal has been struck. The rest kind of implies things are more up in the air and they've left their microwave meal in the oven for a month when we were told it would ping in a week. Damn microwave society.

But time is of the essence: November is getting close and Mayweather and Canelo are hovering over December dates.

I guess the idea of the Monday presser is all the main boxing correspondents will be in London, presuming they're not booked to fly home on Sunday...

Your entire assumption is that the are going to have the promotional tour and not announce the date/venue. Of course they will.

Yes, true. But only because Warren seems quite non-committal in the quotes I copied. We'll know on Monday, one way or the other....
