This is gonna depend on who has the better discipline, balance, footwork, and timing. The jab will play a huge role. Tyson has the overall advantage b/c he can start off as a SP, fight very defensively at the end of his R jab. Do that for a rd or two, refusing to get with range of Wilder, then suddenly, switch it up near the end of a rd, and catch Wilder reaching. I could see Fury easily outsmarting, catching, and KOing Wilder. I just don't think Wilder has the intangibles to compete above the C level. I think guys like Fury, Haye, Adamek, Potevetkin, even guys like Dimitrenko have something, that makes them competitive and even dominant on the Blevel......Wilder is there at the Blevel soley on his power to starch the Clevel guys, but once he's in with another bonafide Blevel guy, I think he find his power is not enough.:think
The thing about Wilder is that he's unknown. Fury's been tested when he stepped up to fight Kevin and Cunningham. Wilder hasn't fought anyone with a pulse so it's hard to make out if he's good or not. Intresting fight and I'll sure as hell will be watching!
The real question is: Are Wilder's handlers going to let this happen? I fear they're going to price themselves out of the fight.
i dont even like fury that much. after the cunningham fight press conferences and stuff he rubbed me the wrong way. i really wanted steve to beat him but guess wut wilder cant beat him either.. fury by ko
Wilder KO in 6, Furys defense is not that good Makes sense the winner fights the winner of Arreola vs Stiverne
If Cunningham's overhand right put fury down, Wilder's windmill right would comatize him Fury is a character with a lot of heart, but he unfortunately has a glass chin. Wilder seems to have a glass chin as well, but due to his athleticism and punching power, i think he kos fury early
Its a hard one to predict Wilder has crazy power but is still untested, he hasn't beat 1 active fighter not 1! Fury is a better boxer and has fought alot better opposition and is still undefeated. If i had to pick 1 i would go with fury but this fight could make Wilder and give him the exposure he needs. GBP seems to be keeping him away from good fighters though, the only fighter that they promote but don't give him decent opponents. Looking forward to it if happens the winner would no doubt go on to win a world title.
