I watched the McCline fight today....big punches, fast combos, and he took some good shots from McCline too...entertaining fight to watch.
Wlad wasn't fast vs Haye. He controlled the smaller Haye by sticking out a stiff armed jab and leaning his head way back so that Haye couldn't reach him if he decided to counter. That's what Wlad his basically been about for the last decade, not speed. Wlad's head leaning way back has been his most effective defensive stance while sticking out his jab. That routine just isn't effective against fighters his size.
