Didn't Larry Holmes whoop Cooney ? He'd dance around Wladimir. Wlad would have trouble with Holmes head movement and foot speed. Of course it would be Holmes toughest fight because Wlad is a big guy who used his height and reach well.

Tyson, Holyfield, Holmes and Lewis will all have knocked out Wlad. AJ and others knocked out Wlad. Beating lesser fighters does not mean a Vlad will defeat legends. The key to beating Vlad is to land on his chin which all these guys would have.

Lewis is the fighter I loved as a kid. But Fury isn't Michael Grant. Yeah, I would like to think Lewis wins, but I don't think it's some blow out.

Fury is far better than Michael Grant but styles make fights. Fury had trouble with Wallin when Wallin pressed the action and went to the body in the early rounds. Lewis isn't going to be boxing with Fury and throw 4 punches per round like Klitschko did, Klitschko was a robotic idiot who was too scared to let his hands go until round 12, and notice when he finally did he landed more of his power shots and had success. Lewis would try and drag Fury into a dog fight like he did against Henry Akinwande and against Vitali Klitschko in round 3. He would go for Fury's jugular.

Pinklon Thomas, Tyrell Biggs, Jose Ribalta, Razor Ruddock

All of these guys were rather big and durable and Tyson stopped them past 5.

Fury is great but Iron Mike Tyson, whom Fury is named after, was on another level in his prime. With Rooney in his corner he delivered devastating body shots and there is no way Fury is taking those without slowing down.

I don't think anyone beats Fury without getting a hell of a fight back ... Dude is a natural at boxing...

Therefore I had mentioned: if Holmes was larger size and in prime, he had been more comfortable vs Wlad.
Because Wlad was good in being octopus and definitely will attempt to octopus Holmes. The smaller size boxer is, the easier for Wlad to octopus him.
Ofc 38 y.o Wlad was old Wlad's version.
Look how Wlad fought vs Povetkin when Wlad was 37 y.o. Basically he wrestled, clinched and was octopus. Majority of fight was clinching and octopus.

Tyson was far more skilled than Fury is and had amazing hand speed, his body work would destroy Fury and he was best fighter in history at slipping the jab and countering.

It would be a cagey fight, Fury is better at slipping shots than anybody Lewis fought and he has a longer jab too, Lewis was out-jabbed by Bruno and Mercer.

It would NOT be a cagey fight. Fury doesn't punch hard like Bruno. Fury has the better jab but Lewis would walk him down

Lewis would be the smaller man. I favor Fury in The clinches. Dance like a butterfly, Jab and grab.

    Fury UD.

Just like Michael Grant and Vitali Klitschko dominated Lewis in the clinches right ? You're right about one thing though. Fury would be clinching for dear life. The ref will tell him to let go every 5 seconds just like Akinwande.

What would actually happen is Lewis would walk Fury down and Fury would just try and clinch. He'd get knocked out by round 10 attempting this probably via uppercut. Lewis is not Deontay Wilder or gunshy old Wladimir Klitschko. Fury had trouble with Otto Wallin

Fury is elite level yes but he is overrated. He beats a gunshy Klitschko by UD then avoids the contractually obligated rematch then beats up overrated Wilder (the same Wilder who ducked Joshua and Whyte. Jesus christ even Whyte ?) and now he beats everybody. You cant make this up.

He's a very good fighter and a solid champ, certainly a much better champ overall than Wilder was. That's not saying a whole lot but it is something. I will rate him top twenty ATG if he decisively beats Joshua. As it is now, I have him over Weaver and Wilder, but below Norton.

old Olympic champion. Unlike Fury and will see will be able Fury or A.J to box when they will be 37, not alone 38 or 40.

Boxing is cool game if idiots might get title belts, Olympic and World championship gold medals.

Lennox Lewis is very overrated. Have seen his fights not that impressed. I actually tend to lean towards Joshua in a fight with Lewis. It would be like 50/50 atleast. Fury-Lewis maybe 70/30
