Absolute facts. Fury gave up the Ring Mag because he knows he will be the only HW in history to be 3-time Ring Mag champ. Fury beats Usyk without much trouble, I'll admit that Usyk's first fight against Joshua had me overestimating Usyk a little, but tonight has made it clear. Usyk is a very good fighter, but that's not enough to stop him from getting completely manhandled by the Gypsy King.
Joshua has 2 big minuses - chin and stamina, and that's where are Usyk's most power attributes.Totally different fight with Tyson.Fury is on the same level with Usyk on these 2, he could also be a dirty boxer, lay over his opponents, land and clinch, he can also hurt the body.+ he has really good reach and movement(again not like Joshua), of course he's much better boxer then Joshua. It won't be easy task for Usyk.
When Usyk & Fury fight the loser will show the world of boxing HOW TO LOSE. Because all these chumps currently are excuse making cry babies. AJ, Ruiz, Whyte, Wilder etc All they do is cry. They believed in their hype. Fury & Usyk only believe in their hype when they step into that ring and put on the suit of armour. Real fighters and if they lose to a real fighter they will be nothing but respectfull.
This is just another Fury rant about how he is a 'Fighting man' and gypsies are tougher than everyone, blah blah blah . Bottom line is he turned down a fight with Usyk and managed to balls up a fight with Joshua because he didnt read the small print. He hasnt fought anyone remotely on Usyks level. The only attribute he has over Usyk is size. Stop telling the world you are better than someone until you have the courage to climb in the ring with them Tyson, Because if words and trying to be clever and funny is all it takes Then Sorry, But I could wipe the floor with you , See how meaningless those words are? same as yours
Why would AJ be a bad match up? Most people that had AJ winning based it on size and power. Fury has size and the mobility and ring smarts to give Usyk a lot of trouble.
Cause AJ is a huge puncher, he is miles better puncher than Fury could even imagine. He is also a great counter puncher, which could always catch you with something big and end the fight. AJ also is a great combination puncher, he is insanely fast for his size and incredibly explosive. Let' see how Fury will use his size against Usyk. I'm yet to see anyone having success with the so call "size" against Usyk. There is level to this, and people will get amazed how big is the difference between Usyk and Fury. Fury has mobility like 7 years ago. And still Usyk kills him on footwork and speed. I respect you as a poster, so let's agree to disagree. We will wait and see. I just hope Fury stop acting like a Diva and actually said if he is going to fight or just f**** retire.
I doubt it. Fury will try to tie up Usyk and put his weight on him, Usyk will have to be very aware of that. If Usyk gets in and gets out on Fury with quick combinations and doesnt allow him to clinch him up Usyk will win this fight.
Fury has the tools but he's also 'a' tool. Problem. Btw Fury probably also watched Hrgovic tonight and thought here's a guy I needn't have worried about.
Fury didn't look very good in his last fight, was quite a sloppy performance, and Fury is 34 himself.
No problem here. Just talking boxing. But, yes, let’s just hope this fight happens. I thought AJ would win the first fight. I thought Usyk didn’t show enough vs Chisora and Witherspoon. And I did think AJ’s power would get to him. I thought AJ was a good enough boxer that he could get to Usyk enough to hurt him with that power. However I never really saw anything in AJ’s style that would be specifically a bad match up for Usyk. Fury on the other hand has mobility and actually can use his size. AJ tried to use his size and looked like someone who is not used to that. Very obviously fouling. There is the possibility that Fury’s mobility will be negated by Usyk’s. Fighting lumbering HWs is not the same as fighting the agile Usyk. And we saw some of this vs Steve Cunningham. It’s clear Fury and his dad respected his skills. Fury can adapt and employ similar tactics as in the Cunningham and overwhelm Usyk with his size if his usual tactics don’t work. He did the same in Wilder 2. We shall see.
