I enjoyed the fight. Could care less about numbers.

If that were remotely true, he wouldn't have ducked Whyte... just saying

Tickets sold: 3,577, Joshua would still get more to a weigh-in.

This is why it's still ridiculous when anyone tries to claim AJ isn't the guy that calls the shots.

Can you imagine what would have been said if AJ v Ruiz at MSG drew 3500 tickets.

Yes and remember history shows rematches do not see a huge differences in PPV figures.

There would have been uproar the likes which we have never seen. There would be a thread like this except twice the number of posts, most of which coming from fury fans giggling away, ordering pizza, jizzing all over the place, holding hands.

Luckily the cosmos and the universal balance prevent that from happening.

It was an unintended compelling contest but I get the feeling Fury is in the US doing more partying than gym grafting.

You should attend a local boxing club. It will help you mentally and physically. You will also gain an understanding regarding what you are watching when you view a boxing bout. Maybe then politics and numbers will be rendered insignificant because you are truly captivated by the sweet science. But at the moment that is not possible because you don't understand what you are watching.

I think a loving partner would help you mentally and physically. Then you wouldn’t be filled with so much hate towards hard working athletes.

Don’t care about the numbers, fight had enough drama to keep me on the edge of my seat.

Not sure what’s with all the shilling for your boy Whyte.

You must be that guy who calls himself Dean and pretends to be Whyte’s bro with all these sycophantic agenda driven posts!

Not surprised by this at all - of course it would have done badly. As it happened, it was quite a good fight, but Fury was never going to get away with two fights against opponents not many had heard of.

Obviously it's huge money for Fury. In hindsight, with how the landscape has changed with Joshua, I wonder how things would be if Fury had signed with Matchroom?
