Only special people keep harping on about December.

For the umpteenth time, let's review the timeline of events in 10 short points, so even Fury fans can follow:

    1) The original date of the Usyk-Joshua rematch was set for July.
    2) Following that, the undisputed Usyk-Fury bout was planned for five months later.
    3) But since the Usyk-Joshua rematch was pushed back to August, the planned undisputed Usyk-Fury bout was AUTOMATICALLY pushed back too.
    4) I repeat: as soon as the Usyk-Joshua rematch was pushed back, so did the planned undisputed bout - all parties knew this, including Fury
    5) On 28th August, five days before Usyk talked about not being ready for December (once again, for the third time: because his rematch with Joshua was delayed by a month = a December fight was not happening from that point on) confirmed that the Usyk Fury bout was aimed for February.
    6) When on the 2nd of September Usyk talked about not being ready to fight twice in four months = no December fight (once again, for the fourth time, so even Fury stans can have a chance to understand: because his rematch with Joshua was pushed back a month and the pre-agreed five month break meant the planned undisputed bout was also delayed), Fury posted on his Instagram: "it doesn't matter if it's December or April or August next year" = still no blabbering about "December, it has to be in December", because HE KNEW about the agreement about the five months between the Joshua rematch and the undisputed bout, that's why he basically said, "I'll fight you anytime, it doesn't matter" - his whole "it has to be in December" act came after...
    7) ... the 8th of September when Frank Warren also confirmed what Bob Arum had confirmed before: that the fight was targeted for February
    8) And if you wonder why February, why not January: ask any event organiser - January is the worst possible month to have any event held, let alone a big PPV bout - people are skint because of the holidays. If you want to make money at the beginning of the year, the event has to be in February instead of January, there's no two ways about it.
    9) So when the Usyk-Joshua rematch was delayed from July to August, it automatically meant that the undisputed bout was delayed not to January but February - that's just basic economics. That's it, that's all there's to it. It wasn't because of Usyk's injury, it wasn't because of anything else. There was a pre-planned five months break between the Joshua rematch and the undisputed bout, and when the Joshua rematch was delayed, it meant that the undisputed simply can't happen before February.
    10) And if any dimwit is still parroting this nonsense about "December, Usyk said he was injured and was not going to be ready for December, Fury said he needed to fight him in December, Usyk bottled December" = show me ANY quotes, interviews, videos FROM BEFORE the 8th of September ( = Warren confirming the bout would take place in February) where Fury was talking about a December date.

    Hope this clears things up.

I'm not enamored with Usyk. I think you're more frightened that if Usyk beats your hero, it opens up the possibility that many other HW of the past could beat him too. Lennox, Louis, Ali, Liston, Holmes. Your, Fury's too big logic, goes right out the window. No longer applies.

Fury's biggest wins are 40 year old Wlad, Fury had a 13 year age advantage. Cunningham, Fury had a 12 year advantage. Wilder, 2 year advantage. Dying to see Fury fight some young guys with more than a decade on him and hear the excuses when he loses.

Both washed up and retired. Just click bait from Fury. The ^Travelling Community" will always turn up for him. This rubbish is to sell himself as a villain who ordinary people might pay to see beaten.
Want to see a real fight ? Smith v Eubank.

You can maybe give him a slight pass for Chisora since every champion is allowed a voluntary defense/light touch after a mandatory. However, if Price ends up being next he should be stripped immediately for wasting time. There is absolutely no defending choosing a glass jawed unranked inactive guy. Claiming Usyk is being difficult, even if true, wouldn't excuse Fury overlooking all these prime contenders available such Joyce, Ruiz, Hrgovic, etc that he somehow has yet to fight. Fury is already in the embarrassing "what if things had gone differently" category of boxing history and it's almost entirely his fault. No matter what he does next, even if he crushes Usyk easily, there will still be big question marks on his career. Why on earth did he waste so much time and why is his resume so thin?
