You can put anything in a contract... whatever people might think of the Saudis, they have expensive lawyers!

 

Why didn’t they make him fight before Christmas? Wasn’t that signed? Was there a reason? Everyone just accepted the fight wasn’t happening because Fury was made a show of by MMA man and never spoke about it. Did anyone give reasons?

 

I’m no lawyer but it seems like it would be hard to enforce if they could prove they’re not fit to fight because of an injury.

They shouldve done this the first time if they’re going to do it, what if usyk gets cut or injured? He gets a huge fine and fury didn’t? The way Turki was sat defending Fury made me think usyk might need a ko in this fight

 

At least for Fury he's got a ready made excuse now if he loses. He was injured/having a mental health crisis but the evil Saudis made him fight anyway. He's the victim, the gap toothed little middle weight took advantage of him, no man born of his mother can legitimately beat the Gypsy King real fighting man etc etc.

Much like with the Conor Benn saga, you can usually predict what these bullsh*tters will come out with.

They think they're powerful because the English became weak and gave them back Arabia. They can't actually defend themselves from any powerful population that decides to conquer them.

 

Any State run by people who believe in murdering people by beheading and chopping off limbs is barely civilised in my opinion.

The Saudi's don't care about human rights so I doubt they will lose any sleep over plundering Fury's bank account for £8m.

 

My best guess is that Turki has suddenly been questioned and put under pressure by the powers that be over there, and not necessarily in a good way.

More in a "you spent all that money on this, only to leave us looking ridiculous and without a marquee event? Sort it out or we'll replace you" kind of way.

This is a good way of transferring the attention away from him and onto the fighters.
