They forget though. All these mega cities need incoming investment to sustain them. It's all well and good building a "leisure capital of the world" but if Saudi isn't generating oil money in 30 years then locals won't sustain it. They need us to visit and spectate or the whole thing falls apart.

Go to Dubai and see how many locals are actually driving the place.

 

Given that the Saudis have paid The Undertaker no doubt royally to be at a domestic cup match tonight with a full three minute entrance I doubt money is an issue for them.
