Guys I think we should analyse this fight to the Nth degree because I know it was 10 years ago but surely it will have massive relevance. 24 year Fury Vs 34 year old Fury. No difference I'm pretty sure.

I'll watch some Usyk fights 10 years when he was a middleweight amateur also as they should be a big tell as to whether he can outbox Fury.

This is true he's continually evolved as a fighter throughout his career, going from a fighter who should have lost to McDermott, struggled with Cunningham but went on to beat fighters like Wlad, Chisora, Whyte and Wilder. If anything that's been the most impressive thing about him for me personally, his ability to learn and evolve.

He did the same to Wilder hitting and holding so Wilder couldn`t counter, he kept grabbing him in a head lock and putting all his weight on him which led to Wilder gassing, he`s a cheat.

So what? Green Bowe got a bit of a lesson from Tubbs, too. And improved immensely from there (lesson for all: you better take a mother****er out). Happens all of the time, relatively speaking. Clay struggled with Doug Jones before he, Clay, was heavyweight champion of the world.. Henry Cooper knocked him on his keester.

Wilder was asking to be put in the headlock with his inability to position his head in a safe position in the clinch with Fury. He literally put himself in the headlock...

Same way Wlad was asking to get slapped from behind because he kept turning his back on Fury.

Usyk is going to get pushed to the canvas atleast twice with the way he tries to defend in close behind his shoulder dipping low.

All this shows is nobody can handle Fury. It's hilarious seeing Fury easily bat away dudes who are mammoths themselves. He made Wilder who is an absolute powerhouse look like a child and Chisora & Whyte babies. Barely using lead hand control and Chisora's was falling over himself.

Wlad was a no chin bum who should have been disqualified for his pathetic cowardly performance against Povetkin.

You don’t to seem understand the concept between the odd clinching and excessive clinching, which is illegal. I’m referring to Fury’s excessive clinching tactics like those we saw against Chisora.

And also my main point was about Furyillegal DQ of Cunningham, which you glossed over and ignored. Are you seriously telling me that was a legitimate legal KO?

Wilders a blown up cruiser with deer legs and Chisora looked three weight divisions smaller than the Neanderthal

Bellew was up on two of the cards 67-66 and 68-65 whilst the third card was level 67-67 when he fought Usyk ! It’s a 12 round fight and points don’t win nothing if you can’t go the distance,Usyks KO of Bellew in the 8th round sharp cancelled that points lead out as did Furys KO of Cunningham in the 7th round .

Was going to say this. Shows how much he troubled him and that skilled enough smaller guys could beat him.

The narrative on this fight is pretty silly now.

We're led to believe it 'exposed' Fury as being a poor boxer against small fast fighters with some skills, that Cunningham was easily winning the rounds and Fury just roughed him up to win.

The fact the scores were so close on an American show tells us that Cunningham was not dominating Fury boxing-wise at all. It means Fury was holding his own against a fast smaller boxer. Talk about just boxing v boxing skills, Fury is matching a championship level cruiser fighter, who was 38, yes, but clearly jacked on gear.

If people actually watch the fight instead of listening to the narrative from Battleship and co that Fury just 'leaned on me with his head and elbows and cheated' etc., you can see Fury boxing toe to toe with him and doing well, landing good counters, combinations etc.

So this fight doesn't prove Usyk will toy with Fury, actually it serves as a warning to Usyk that Fury can hold his own against smaller faster fighters in a boxing match.

Luckily for Usyk he's better than Cunnningham. But we'll see.
