Please point out where I have been critical of Tyson Fury - just one example will suffice.

All the talk here is about Fury's performance, Wallin should get credit for putting up a good performance. I want to see Wallin take on some fringe contenders and see how he gets on.

Or a bad day at the office compounded by a cut?
    One performance doesn't mean anything.
If he looks like **** again in the next fight then we can all start to speculate

That seems to be a common theme in your responses: "supposition" and "poor".
I work on the basis of evidence. I am atill waiting.

So you didn't say this is Fury's prime when all evidence is to the contrary whilst picking a period of time to compare him to Ali that conveniently excludes his own struggles?

People can see your posts here in this thread.

Tyson has nothing special but his tremendous size. He's a giant heavyweight.

Just watching Wallin in the early rounds I could tell he wasn't a completely useless fighter. Fast hands, crisp and compact punches, decent head movement and strong jab. He made Fury second guess him from the start and even had him falling into the ropes at one point from a lunging missed hook. His problems started when he gassed and Fury began to pour it on with the roughhousing and body work, but prior to that he was more than holding his own.

A few things to be drawn from that.

    - Fury was flat and underprepared, allowing Wallin to shine
    - Wallin is genuinely a decent fighter who is able to up his game against world class opposition
    - Fury has past his best

None of those options can be said to be the correct one without further evidence. If Wallin fights another top ten fighter like Parker or Pulev and puts on a similar performance then he's clearly better than we thought. If Fury underperforms again in his next warm up (he'll likely have one before Wilder now) then we can start to feel that perhaps he's past his best. If Fury looks a million bucks against another top ten then he just had an off night and this becomes a footnote.

I'm no longer a huge fury fan, but I'm willing to give him a pass on this one unless future performances continue the trend.

It is crazy how times have changed. A fighter wins a fight yet gets criticized for not getting the win how fans think he should have and gets labeled a bum. As Don King once said, Only In America. We need to start respecting fighters and the sport, similar to the UK and Mexico.

I am perfectly wiling to accept that defining the prime years of a fighter is a subjective discussion open to different views. Perhaps Fury is now past his prime or perhaps we have not yet seen it. Who knows until after he has retired.
However, your accusation that I have disparaged him and the other fighters in this era, where is your proof for that?
These posts are available for all to read.
    I am still waiting.

how was he the best HW of the 15 years for outpointing a 40 year old man?

That man was beaten by several nobodies who must be by dint of that argument, better than fury.

Oh the usual suspects, Fury might be around 35th to 40th
