Good post - obviously a bit of hyperbole from me but you get the point. If Whyte and his team truly believe they can win, they'd accept a lesser cut in the long run in order to have the opportunity to make more in the long run.

I suspect they know it's likely they'll lose vs Fury and want to cash out - hence the stalling.

You talk about Fury beating "the man". At least he did beat "the man". Joshua, Wilder nor Usyk have beaten "the man". That's why the lineal distinction is the most important distinction. Fury is the man of the division because he beat the best to become the best, and done it away from home. He is also undefeated.

It's a problem for Fury to have "tune-ups" apparently, but it's okay for Joshua to face Breazeale, Takam, Molina, Pulev, Rice Pudding Jr in your precious belt defences. It's priceless. You are making a fool of yourself.

Fury is the man who beat the man etc. No doubt. I think the issue many have is that no one gets to fight him and challenge for that honour.

You may be livid at anyone who blasts Fury Wilder 3, your fight of the century.

Yes, it was a brilliant fight. And I love watching Fury fight. But I’d have rather seen both of them fighter other fighters. Given the conclusive nature of the second. I just want to see all the contenders fight each other. Without the pointless rematches.

 

Wilder was very close to beating Fury in fight 3 - if that was T. Dosh PPV, he would not be leaving the canvas.

Two absolute warriors who left it all in the ring - that is what I call a great fight.

 

Im not saying you are wrong mate. It was a great fight. If they fought again Wilder may put him down and it may be a great fight.

Thing that gets me is they only fight once or twice a year. So seeing Fury beat AJ pillar to post in September would have been more entertaining for me than a third fight. Just like watching Fury Usyk would be way better than AJ Usyk 2

 

Being livid and offering a contrasting opinion are two different things. Clearly the fact I rate the third so highly rubs you up the wrong way. You should just enjoy it for what it was. You say that the second was conclusive, but it clearly meant little for the third bout given how it unfolded.

I also want to see all of the top guys face each other. This is why I respect Fury and Usyk the most for being happy to fight the top guys and away from home.

 

That’s what I’m trying to say mate. Fury beat him pillar to post in the second, and the third was a different fight. Every fight is different. But I’d much rather see AJ Wilder and Fury Usyk etc rather than the same guys fighting each other in pointless rematches. Especially given that they fight twice a year max.
