Fury/Whyte Split confirmed

People can say what they want...but 20 percent is grim. Whytes beat some decent challengers. No way any split for a title should be 80/20 otherwise whats the point really. Its not like whyte winning would really turn him into a massive moneymaking machine. He wouldnt be able to get any decent opponents if his split was 80/20 after winning the belt.

Think 70/30 should be a minimum. Regardless of who,s fighting for it. Otherwise whats the point of becoming the number one ranked challenger...he has had a bit of a long road. 70 percent is more than fair to fury to get the fight on.

I know i wouldnt take that fight for 20 percent. Probably not even 30 percent tbh.

"otherwise whats the point really" - The point would be to make millions of pounds directly from the bout, have a chance to become a world champion against a prestigious opponent and the man of the division, skyrocket your potential earnings via endorsements, earn a lot more in future bouts as the world champion...

Someone point me in the direction of this championship winning post. I presume it would be something along the lines of 1. Usyk 2. Joshua 3. Whyte 4. Fury 5. Joyce or something.

 

He has done that many it would be impossible to find it - I remember Fury toiling badly in his ratings

 

Whats the point in being the champion for someone like whyte is the point i m making. He,s making as much fighting good challengers and getting the win. Winning the belt wont actually make him that much more money...hes never gonna be big time like say joshua.

Probably make it harder for him to get a fight if anything...if hes handing out 80/20,s to the next guy.

Its obvious to see the agenda on here against all things eddie hearn. 20 percent for a guy thats beating chisora twice, rivas, parker and povetkin and built a name in the uk. Whats fury done to deserve 80 percent....beat 1 legitimate guy....a guy everyone says is useless.

80/20,s a derisory offer and holding the title up. Be as well ripping the belts up if thats how its gonna be.....you,ve to get yourself to number one....beating 4 or 5 decent guys...only to get 20 percent to fight the best guy that could finish your career...or give you serious long term problems down the line etc.

You all complain about favouritism hearns fighters get....i agree with that. Refs, judges, rematch clauses...but in the same token dont mind fury being heavily favouritised in an 80/20 split...which kind of reveals the only agenda is all things eddie hearn.
