Please book your brain in for an MOT. Because if you believe Povetkin is a pudding, but Pianeta Schwarz Seferi and Wallin are all top elite super heavyweight opposition than your oil pump has gone.
What are you talking about? I don't believe Wilder had an issue, nor Povetkin. While Wilder was simply inferior as a boxer, Povetkin was past it.
Whyte haters come out with some outlandish stuff. “Parker is a pudding, Povetkin is a pudding, Chisora is a pudding, Whyte is a pudding.... “ BUT “Pianeta Schwarz Seferi and Wallin are all well-oiled Rolls Royces, elite opposition.
I’m referring to when Wilder fought Fury in second fight with no legs from round 1. same as what people say about Povetkins legs in Whyte rematch when he was supposedly still suffering effect of covid. with Fury it was accepted as a fantastic win. With Whyte ... oh Pov is faded... wasnt all there... covid wrecked. Absolute double standards from these turnips. Nobody was saying Povetkin was unfit or faded when up and coming HW destroyer only scraped a draw against Povetkin despite giving 120% and jumping Pov in a dirty manner. I mean hunter beat Bakole... which many claim could beat Whyte
With a straight face I can claim those aforementioned advantages over Fury. Credibility? Fury lost all that when he kept getting flatlined against cruiserweights. Why is he getting hurt by skinny men? When he goes around (and his fans go around) talking about how “hench” he is and how “strong” he is. Wilder and Fury are way overrated. Being champ means jack, charles martin was champ.
I was saying Povetkin was well past his best even before he faced Joshua. He was 39 already then. Let's be realistic. He looked shaky against David Price, FFS. That was about 2 1/2 years before he fought Whyte. It's really not difficult to admit he was an old fighter who had seen much better days.
Are you saying they are bad? Whats your opinion? And where is your condemnation of Fury fighting this MEDIOCRE guys dont forget Wallin.
I know what you're referring to, but I'm not one of the people who subscribe to that line of thought. Many did think Povetkin was past it against Hunter, myself included, and I also thought he beat Hunter. He wasn't awarded a legitimate knockdown on Hunter, who was gassed after 5 or 6 rounds. Totally overrated boxer, Hunter. Whyte is one of my favourite boxers, but getting KO'd by old, arguably shot Povetkin is a skidmark that can never be erased. To me, it was something that so easily could've been avoided. I think that he was KO'd because of complacency, because it was so easy. He was roughing up Povetkin, battering him a little bit, and was probably enjoying it a bit too much. He approached the second bout with the intensity he should've approached the first bout with.
Being old doesnt mean you shouldn’t be in the ring. Some fighers get better with age... these are the words of boxing champions. Povetkin looked perfectly fine against Joshua and Price, I dont get your exaggeration. Pov got wobbled by a shot from Price who is known to have a punch on him... so what?
Whyte is the World Lineal Pudding and yes Fury's opponents were not great. Whyte ducked Wallin so no idea how good or bad he really is but he gave Fury a tough fight.
I agree with most of what you said, Pov beat Hunter or it was a draw. The ropes defo held up Hunter. I was just impressed to see the older man put the younger Hunter in his place who was fresher and had more energy. I definitely dont think Whyte got complacent at sll thats not his style, he got KOd because technically he is inferior to Povetkin and he has terrible footwork. He got caught and it was an accident waiting to happen but he made adjustments in the rematch and he is more aware now of his short comings as a boxer. it was a beautiful well timed well position uppercut from Povetkin, which is hats off and fair play. But Whyte showed his superiority in how he manhandled Povetkin prior to that where everyone was pretty much thinking yep its getting stoped Whyte has bagged this. Putting him a step above Hunter and same page as AJ... but he got caught end of. The beauty is how he approached the rematch. He didnt know what povetkin would show up thats bot his fault if Povetkin seemingly had unsteady legs... he went in there against a guy who KOd him cold with no fear and stuck it on him from round 1. Something AJ didnt have the balls to do against Ruiz in his rematch. To be fair Povetkin proved how rugged he is because he took some bombs from Whyte and still didnt go down easy, and Whyte is known to be a hard puncher from all sparring partners and previous opponents.
thats says more about fury being overrated then Wallin being underrated... as Wallin laboured a win against Breazeale and was top 60 when he got picked by Fury. Whyte doesnt have a bone inside him capable of ducking given he fought Rivas Parker Povetkin twice Chisora twice Helenius all as voluntary fights with everything to lose nothing to gain. No else has has demonstrated cahonas that big. best CV for a non champ? Ya a think so matey. This guy takes RISKS for our entertainment and his self-development. Took on AJ with a broken shoulder and two weeks notice. Took on AJ in amateurs with 5 days notice and still beat him. AJ acknowledges this win to make it. 1-1 between them. His words not mine.
interim champ? Lets look at the CV. yep he earned it. Fury? Handed a world title shot by FedEx as soon as he came back after a long hiatus from the sport. Participated in no sanctioned WBC fights Had no ranking in the WBC And Wilder himself only fought one mandatory in three years, and the WBC regulations say once a year!!! I mean Whyte offered a legitimate 9 million dollars for Wilder to fight him. The money was real, you going to deny matchroom and sky have that money? meanwhile Stiverne got two shots, ortiz got two shots Fury three shots. Jesus man. Whyte is ducked hard. He didnt tag team guys like Rivas he beat him by himself to earn Interim Champ. Rivas had all the chances in the world to stop Whyte.
