I'm sure Usyk, Fury, Wilder and Joshua will each compete twice this year. I am not sure why you care if they are currently scheduled. It seems like you care more about quantity than quality. Joshua hadn't fought a top opponent since a retiring Klitschko 4 years prior. I was just happy to see him face a good opponent again. Seems like you were happy to see him box plodders for years, simply because he was boxing. Fury's 2019 wasn't exciting for me, and I am just happy to see him face another top opponent again in Wilder (in a legendary bout). Usyk just boxed Joshua. We have literally just had the consensus top guys square off. Let's see more of it. I would rather have two bouts between the four of them in one year, than many more bouts each of them facing diddies like Paint Dry Parker and so on.

I couldn't care less about no-hopers like Parker competing in pudding bouts against the likes of Chisora and Junior Fa (gift decision, by the way). It's easy to fight in pudding bouts when there's nowhere else to go.

I suppose the enjoyable aspect of this fight would be that Fury can't dance as much anymore, we saw in the last two Wilder fights that heis more prone to just putting it on them, he'd get a lot of joy against the easy to hit Whyte and it would be a very good highlight reel KO.

Where is your condemnation of Furys opponents? Ive not seen it.

who do you consider top 15 in the division if parker is a hopeless pudding?

Are there a bunch of refugee elite heavyweights from a parallel universe that I am unaware of?

Have we resurrected Muhammed Ali as part of te universal soldier program?

This board is obsessed with Dillian Whyte, lets talk about other boxers. He isnt the only heavyweight out there.

Fury has four top level wins. Wilder has zero. Joshua has one (Fury's sloppy seconds), Usyk has one and Ruiz has one. W. Klitschko also has zero.

All of the wins away from home. Although I am a Whyte fan, he has only fought one top level opponent and he was sparked out - and Joshua is probably the weakest of the top level guys.

I would favour Steve 'Drago' Robinson to put Whyte to sleep, too. Joe Joyce, also.

Still dont understand who you consider top?

From your post, you consider anyone who is champ to be top? Because a lot of champs get made by accident, or luck.

The top boxers in the division have either been able to beat an established champion or separate themselves from the rest of the field by only losing to top quality opposition and convincingly beating everyone else put in front of them.

    1. Fury - has never been beaten. Has beaten Klitschko and Wilder several times - away from home. Has demonstrated that he can win in a variety of different ways.
    2. Usyk - has never been beaten. Beat Joshua away from home. His talent is clear to see and like Fury, brings something unique.
    3. Wilder - has only ever lost to Fury, who may be the best of his generation. Has zero top wins but has beaten everyone else in his path convincingly. Has the single biggest weapon in the division and is incredibly tough.
    4. Joshua - beat Klitschko. Has beaten enough boxers on the lower levels to prove he is above them. Has lost to an absolute pudding in Rice Pudding Jr, though, as well as Usyk.

    -------
We will only know who is in this area after some time. Jurgen may be right when he puts the likes of Sanchez and Yoka in his top 10. We will soon see. I would put Whyte and Joyce in as certainties, but Whyte is nearing the end of his time in this segment. Hrgovic, Hunter, Wallin, may be in here. Some are saying Dychko. Dubois, maybe.
    --------
This category is more easy to assemble with the likes of Paint Dry, Helenius, Ortiz, Bakole, Hughie Fury and so on.
    --------
Chisora and other puddings like Dave Allen, Eric Molina, Charles Martin, Dominic Breazeale, Tom Schwarz, Christian Hammer etc. belong in this category.

So your logic for putting Wilder in a category above Whyte is because he lost to Fury three times. Has zero top wins but bear everyone else convincingly. And has a strong punch?

I can’t believe it. I just cant wrap my head around how your brain works.

The only conclusion is favouritism. You disfavour Whyte but claim to be a fan.

To give Wilder credit for beating other boxers? Loads of boxers do that? Including Whyte.

To give Wilder credit for losing to another “top” fighter, every boxer does that. Includint Whyte.

And as for Power? Whyte has plenty power we’ve been through this. Is just as devastating as Wilders if not more devastating. Look how he had browne and chisora completely flatlined and not moving. Had never been done before. And Chisoras chin is well tested.

So the bonus is that Whyte does have top wins where Wilder doesnt. Yet you have Wilder in the category above Whyte.

Fury has one top win. Klitckho thats it really. Wilder is hugely overrated.

Usyk is top no doubt. AJ is top as well.

Undefeated means NOTHING. It’s who you fought. Champion means nothing either, its how you got there and who you beat.

What's with the single-line spacing? I actually dislike Wilder and like Whyte. Wilder wasn't sparked out by an old man who was clearly shot, in Povetkin.

Whyte has so much more power than Wilder that he couldn't even rock Dave Allen.

No lol why would I be trolling? I don’t think Whyte has much of a chance of beating him. I didn’t say no chance did I? I’m not saying it’s going to be an easy fight for Fury. Easy by my definition would be getting rid of him in 3-4 rounds which I don’t think will happen. I think it would probably go the distance actually. But I just don’t see how Whyte beats him? You explain to me then how Whyte beats Fury?

    Dave Allen has a chin.
    Ortiz couldn’t lay him horizontal.

So if Povetkin fought Wilder who would have won? Because this whole diminishment and belittlement of Povetkin is way overblown. Look where you have Hunter categorised and see how younger, prime, hungry Hunter failed to secure a win despite the Usain Bolt start in round 1. Pov has two losses. And is known for his punching power.

Whyte was smashing Povetkin and dropped him twice before he got caught.

Why cant you accept that KOs happen in boxing all the time to top level talent? Its Heavyweight!!! Its a different story if someone was getting beaten up. But whyte was got by one single solid punch.

the same has happened to Lennox Lewis arguably greatest HW of all time h2h.
