Same way he overcame the difference in handspeed, mobility, and 16 year gap in boxing skill against thr younger hungrier than ever Joeseph Parker. Same way he overcame the muscle bound, hard hitting, decorated amateur Oscar Rivas. Same way he KOd and flatlined Chisora with one of the best chins in the business.. no questions asked. Same way he overcame Helenius a tall guy with more of a punch than Fury. Fury is reallly no where near as great as You or anyone else thinks. Not with his resume. The wallin fight and Wilder fight showed tons and tons of vulnerabilities. Wilder is the least technically capable champion of modern history, why it took 30 rounds to dispatch him horizontally from Fury. Whytes been in with guys who can punch and box at the same time. With speed too. And beat them. wilder is just fast and has a strong punch no ability at All. Even in the amateurs he looked so terrible.
Ortiz stopped Dave Allen and had him staggering about. Whyte couldn't tickle him, despite Allen being stood plum in front of him for 10 rounds. I actually envisage Hunter more in the lower category, but his record doesn't merit it as of yet, but I think he will be found out soon. Whyte was knocked spark out by an ancient Povetkin who had been dropped by David Price. Even prime Povetkin couldn't knock out Huck and old, but younger Povetkin couldn't knock out Rudenko. He hit Whyte with one punch that nearly killed him.
"muscle bound"? Have you moved from TS to men? How is being muscle-bound an attribute? Hard hitting? Not sure. There's not much to suggest that. Decorated amateur? What, with a 11 wins and 7 losses record? Are you taking the ****? He hasn't done anything in the amateurs to be referred to as "decorated". That is actually so funny.
Price never dropped Pov. Pov KOd Takam and Manuel Charr. Things Klitckho and AJ couldnt achieve. Who has KOd huck? Pov had hunter hurt on the ropes. We all know Whyte hits hard and you know that too. So not going to argue that point anymore, the Chisora KO is unique and hasnt been repeated since.
Having muscles makes a difference in a fight. Certainly helped Rivas absorb all those body shots from whyte. He KOd Jennings. Joyce couldn’t do that.
Since when was Oscar Rivas a decorated Amateur? You always make things up. Wilder is FAR more of a decorated Amateur than Rivas
Oh please,Wilder is a joke stop reaching. Scraped through his amateur days on his physical stats only. @Safin oscar Rivas beat Pulev and Andy Ruiz Jr in amateurs. worthy opponents. So i invite both of you to suck on my unit and drop the trolling, neither of you are good at it. **** wilder **** his padded resume **** both of you
Haha. When you are wrong you love throwing the insults out. Again ill ask you, since when was Rivas a decorated amateur?
Did you not read? Beat Pulev and Andy Ruiz AMONG Other notable scalps here are the accolades. This content is protected This content is protected 7 inches shorter than Wilder too. Didnt need 83 inch reach.
'Same way he overcame the muscle bound, hard hitting, DECORATED amateur Oscar Rivas' I can read. So again. Explain that one.
Now enlighten me who Wilders best scalps were at Amateurs? please boxing genius, tell us a tale of the mighty legendary Wilder of Alabama
I actually dont give 2 shits, i dont get invested in fighthers like yourself, im a grown man. We are all boxing fans here. We all know how limited Wilder is and we all know how limited Whyte is. Whyte, similar to Wilder has a punchers chance against this slower less elusive version of Fury.
Being a champ means jack without context winning a bronze medal means jack without context Being undefeated in 40 fights means jack without context Instead, How you became a champ or who you beat means more How you beat or how you lost for a bronze medal means so much more Being undefeated against QUALITY opposition means alot... HELL even taking losses against quality guys while giving a good account of yourself means more @Safin @nurological
Whyte could be any other man, if that man had the same journey I’d still be arguing all the same points. Whyte’s resume is levels ahead of Wilder, he punches just as hard. He has earned his place in top 5 heavyweights. He has proven himself more than Fury or Wilder on the notion that he took MORE CHALLENGING NON TITLE FIGHTS. And on the notion that Fury and Wilder avoided mandatories. And have a terrible record of defending their titles. I cannot and will not give a man credit for fighting a champion. If he beats the champion fair play. Fighting him? Gtfo. Anyone boxer or not would loe the oppurtunity to make millions and lay down.
Fair enough. I don’t actually consider him that great just think he’s the best right now. It’s all talk at the end of the day. We’ll see what happens when and if the fight happens and I’ll give Whyte credit if he wins.
