It has been enlightening how this forum treats fury in comparison with AJ. Put AJ in fury's shoes and you will be getting comments of lowball offer anf give him what he wants. This forum is heavily biased in fury/frank warren favour.
I’m not a Fury fan, but I don’t think he has been boxing that poor opponents tbf especially after all the substance abuse and weight on etc. Wilder was clearly the most dangerous heavyweight due to his concussive power and he saw him 3 times. His record was awful with poor cherry picked challengers, but the Ortiz finishes were decent.
I haven't seen one person on here say that they want to see Fury fighting a poor opponent. As a rule, people on here are only interested in him fighting Usyk and/or Joshua - and in the meantime Whyte (or failing that Andy Ruiz). You can push your strange agendas all you want - but to suggest people will be "rejoicing" if he fights Helenius or someone in the interim is just fiction.
Wrong end of the stick. If AJ had fought Helenius there would be uproar. Fury does it and it's acceptable.
I don't think anyone sees Helenius as 'acceptable'. It's a really poor fight. I hope they can make the Whyte fight happen without any arbitration dragging things out otherwise talk about 'keep busy' fights (ie Helenius) becomes more plausible.
Usyk - Fury is the only fight that matters. Joshua should have to earn a crack at the winner, having clearly lost to Usyk.
Fury through his actions in the ring has earned the respect and adulation of boxing fans. I used to detest the man until the comeback - since said comeback, surely any decent person/boxing fan is impressed by his achievements in the ring. Tyson Luke Fury a living legend that we need to enjoy while he is here.
Nah. It already happened and this forum (except Aydamn) were mostly calling Whyte a greedy deluded ***** back then too. https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/whyte-refuses-£5-million-to-fight-aj.623694/
I don't disagree that Whyte has a plan. It's just that Helenius has been thrown around and Tyson fans are justifying it with "Tyson needs a tuns up". Utter bollocks. If AJ or Uysk fought him there'd be threads on here slagging him off galore.
It would be a dreadful fight that I wouldn't pay for. My glee in this situation is purely down to Whyte
