A focused Fury is tough to beat because of what? Because Fury ran from a washed up Wlad Klitschko and landed 86 punches in 12 rounds or because Fury beat a overrated hype job Wilder?

I'm glad you brought up Lopez. The Loma/Lopez fight is a perfect example of what I was sayng about some over the top fans. In the build up of the fight, Loma fans were saying Lopez stood no chance, would look lost, maybe even quit. Loma then comes out, throws not one meaningful punch for 61/2 rounds, with a combined total of less than 400 punches thrown. Of course, he loses. Some of the Loma fans then try to use revisionist history, not give Lopez any credit and make excuses. Zero objectivity. Oh, since you passively tried to accuse me of being biased agsinst EE fighters, being a SJW and what not. There is a post below that mentions dirty fighters. All African American. Please put that poster in check.
His size and agility. He moves very well for a guy his size. Decent ring IQ. Determined. Not too many guys in the history of the sport get up after 11 rounds from the shot Wilder landed on him. Do I want to see him put to sleep, yes. Not a Fury fan or hater, but I try to be objective. Obviously, you haven't drank the Fury koolaid. So what's your take on Mr. Fury?

If Wlder has improved his inside game this will be a very dangerous fight for Fury.

I would not count out Wlder.

Can Fury rise to the occasion again? I am uncomfortable with his partying videos on his social media and mocking Deontay Wilder. He is definitely looking over confident and Wilder is looking determined for revenge and is putting in the work.

Why only Loma? There had been damn a lot of examples.
Let's start: Johanson had been predicted by some fans as looser before their first vs Patterson and he KOed Patterson. Then there were these rematches after this.
Ali had been considered by a lot of ppl as underdog vs Liston I.
Formean was considered as undedog vs Frazier I and this is widely in US media, gambling odds etc.
In reality Foreman had easily dealt with Frazier.
There are a lot examples and still Lopez wasn't so heavily as deep underdog like Pulev for fight vs A.J or BJS vs Canelo.

This is a bit too biased. Btw, how about these Lopez fans who insisted that he will KO Loma?
In reality Lopez barely won this one and unlike Linares, did not had managed to drop Loma down. Nothing special, with Nakatani he too had failed to do this.

You are maybe a bit and usually western boxers fans gladly accept excuses from their boxers, this is reality.
When this is EE boxer, then he for sure should KO out boxer cold and still there will be places for excuses from his fans.

    This is normal, nothing unusual.

Lopez did "nothing special" in beating Lomo, who was praised wildly by rabid posters on here for years about he is the most skilled fighter ever. The best since Ali. The greatest of this century. And claims got wilder. These aren't just schmuck alt posters. This was a mound full of some of the biggest posters on here. Can't delete all those thousands upon thousands of posts and threads, my friend! Lopez beating Lomo, decisively, was special.

This is normal and sorry, no one from these prizefighters is unbeatable.
Some from them just managed to retire from fighting in time as undefeated.

Like Loma, no one is unbeatable and actually, while Loma doesn't likes me, Lopez too is beatable and he will lost fight sooner or later.

This is order of life and it will happen unless he will not manage to retire from fighting in time before he will get beat up.

No one from them is there forever, they will be replaced with next, these too will be replaced.

What a surprise, if Linares managed to drop him, then why Lopez could not to do this?
You will tell that he run from Lopez etc , of course he had run.

Sorry kid, even Ali was not unbeatable and actually he was beatable and nothing so special in 70 ies, otherwise he had gave Foreman rematch.

Ali too was not better than Loma or Lopez.

The first time Wilder failed to land the bomb he lost.
There is always the chance he can find it again, he found it in Fury 1, but it's a big ask for him. He was outboxed in fight 1 but found a bolt from the blue BUT Fury got up so it's not always going to be enough to hope for the big punch. A draw was generous to Wilder in fight1
Wilder then got smashed in the rematch - He has to develop a coping strategy for Fury on the front font, he needs to add some variety especially inside where he doesn't have anything rarely throws an uppercut and has no body attack at all.
I just think its too much for him to pickup at this stage of his career. He looks a little thicker in his videos at the minute maybe a sing he wants to come in heavier -i can get the thinking but he has to hope it doesn't slow him down.
He's a protected glass cannon - Fury can outbox him and over power him. If Fury is fit and focused he should win.

If Fury is focused, he'll win, if he's anything less than completely in the game mentally, he'll get KO'd.

    Wilder only needs 1 second.

Of course no and all top guys are very good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and this in all sport not only combat sport.
The same is about non combat sport.

The same tennis, there is some number of main top level tournaments per year and in some 1 guy had won, in some other next lad, then later maybe the same lad who had lost 1 tournament before this.

The biggest difference between for example tennis or judo, wrestling, racing sport fans is that boxing fans are waiting someone unbeatable and like idol and icon.
While in other combat sports it is not that important. Like they value you only for marquee achievements and if you had lost earlier, this is no death sentence for fans.

Btw had you boxed in ams or pros?

I normally know why undefeated record is important in modern pro boxing and there is no old times anymore when fans could accept that fighter does not sucks just cos he had lost 1 fight.

We do not have a lot of 50/50 fights exactly cos unforgiving nature of boxing fans in modern days and then are crying how bad modern boxing is.
What you ( fans ) had ordered, that you had get. The same 0 in records and crying about not enought close to 50/50 fights etc outcome.

Clients are fans and what they indirectly had ordered, this had been served for them.

You forgot to mention that Wilder is now working with an unproven trainer who is having him try all kinds of new things he’s not use to using and will most likely become more confused then he normally is.

I doubt it. He may win, but this will be the best Wilder yet, and a Wilder KO isnt far fetched at all.
