    Last night’s decision is a reminder to follow the money.

    • Fury entered last night’s fight as a household name in the UK.
    • Deontay Wilder is largely unknown in America. Watch the following video in case you disagree.

    • A 40-1 Deontay Wilder is not as profitable as an undefeated 40-0-1 Deontay Wilder is.
    • Now that Fury has solidified his standing on both sides of the Atlantic, Wilder/Fury II is BIG money at Wembley or AT&T stadium.
    It’s no consolation to the fighter who gets robbed, but I think promoters operate with the mindset of “boxing can never have too many stars.” Case in point Fishnets vs Trinidad. A 35-1 Trinidad does not reach the heights that a 36-0 Trinidad did.
