Hate all the CV talk for active fighters. Means nothing at all until they are retired. If Fury fights and beats AJ then why does it matter and vice versa. All the other fights are just fluff and bull**** hype. We are all boxing fans and kmow what a decent fight is
Wilder is garbage mate, pure garbage. Not even top 10, hes fought 1 top level fighter and come unstuck twice. whyte would smash him inside 2 rounds, if you look what a non puncher like fury can do to him imagine an actual come forward aggressive fighter man handling old spaghetti legs.
Whyte is a big useless lump who walks forward with his chin in the air and gasses out after 4 rounds. If we’re using the triangle theory... if Rivas dropped Whyte what would Wilder to him?
Of course, wilder can beat anyone, we know that he has the punch. Of course he can land it and knock whyte out, he can knock anyone out. Hes a freak in that hes pretty useless but very dangerous. But if whyte does what fury does and what every opponent should do, use their strength push him back and unload bombs he will crumble everytime. Whyte may not be the greatest fighter of all time but hes still levels abover wilder and he hits harder than fury. Wilder is terrible i wouldnt pick him against any of the top 10/15 guys. Rivas would smash wilder as well.
Makes me laugh how Ortiz got sparked by Wilder twice but every other fighter around that level would coincidentally beat Wilder according to those who slate Wilder to discredit Fury. If Joshua had beaten Wilder they’d be talking like he’d done Ali and Mike Tyson in the same night.
Yeah haha my mates were the same. Wilder was going to smash Fury and Wilder v Joshua was the biggest fight of all time. Then Fury beat him and he was suddenly awful.
Ive said this over and over, Wilder isn’t that good but doesn’t need to be because the rest of the divison really aren’t up to much. Although it can be hard to guage with the heavyweights , I’d be shocked if he couldn’t beat Whyte by brutal KO.
Still say wilders massively underated off the back of the fury fight. When the truth is fury just has the perfect style against him. I,d like to see the rest of them trying to walk wilder down because its a dangerous position to be in against him. He almost wants you to walk him down...he creates a gap between himself and the opponent for the opponent to try and close it to then hit you with the right hand. Furys hand speed/foot speed...great judgement of distance and superior length allowed him to killed the gap and get off first consistantly. We learned he cant fight when that happens. The rest of them dont have the tools to close that gap without walking into it first tho. From there your in a dangerous position. I still say wilder/joshuas a 50/50. Both able to take each other out. Joshuas size and hand speed could get him off first...but his footspeed and defence where he tries to stand his ground puts him in a dangerous position against wilder. I,d see wilder putting the rest of them away.
Its not because of the Fury fight, go back and watch his fights prior to that and the threads on those days. Not many have ever rated him. The facts are he’s a terrible boxer but with serious power. Power that could probably fold anyone on the day. His boxing ability is terrible though, he’s constantly losing fights until his power bails him out.
