Fury/Wilder: Why did it take the arbitrator so long to make a decision?

    The timing couldn't have been worse. Why didn't the judge make the decision months ago? So much of Fury's time has been wasted.

    Was the judge paid off by someone in Wilder's camp? Something is rotten here.

    It took months, but a court case would have taken a year or two easily. That's the selling point of arbitration.

    You still have to find a time where both sides and their attorneys can meet, they need to get their billable hours in, probably everyone's offices are a mess because of the covid situation, etc.

    It wasn't an inordinate amount of time for the decision but just horrible timing for the boxing fan.
