Fury will likely say he has just started training now. If you believe it then there's little that can be said for you

I don't see how Fury can ever be taken seriously again. No matter what he says, people will assume he's lying.

It seems that most of Fury's previous camps were just him getting into shape. He doesn't need as much of that now, obviously. I just hope he is motivated. But if he's not motivated for the unification with the boxer reckoned to be his only generational rival now he might as well retire. I hope he doesn't, but would wish him well if he did.

    I doubt it.
People spin Fury's pull-outs quite massively.
Fury has been cancelled more than he's cancelled.

People even pretend Ustinov was some pull-out sin when Ustinov was only there as a fill-in because everyone's hero 'War' Chisora pulled out, and then Fury's uncle was on his deathbed or whatever. How laughable to call that a dodge.

There is only one true pull-out and that was Wlad 2. But something wasn't right with Fury in the lead-up. He was negative/nihilistic, kept saying he'd lost the desire to box and was getting fatter and fatter. The gloves off with Wlad with the suicide thing was very strange. Then Fury didn't show to a presser and they pretended his car broke down etc. The wheels had fallen off of Fury and so the fight was cancelled.

That situation was completely different to this. Fury is in a very different frame of mind now. He seems to want to keep fighting and so I don't see why he'd go to all this trouble just to pull out.

It's really odd. Certain posters, and so called ‘boxing fans’, would obviously rather the fight doesn't happen; so their agendas against Fury are vindicated.

Yeh, I was looking forward to that one. Ustinov seemed to be motivated and in good shape.

On a side note: Ortiz pulling out against Ustinov was a disappointment too. In retrospect ... it was just another wasted opportunity for Ortiz in a long line of wasted opportunities.

Seems to be the norm anymore. There aren't enough televised cards anymore where these guys should be passing up any opportunity.

Fury will sprain the fat in one of his love handles; fight will move to September.
