But in even more brutal fashion. Young man the old man. That body is getting smashed from round 1 onwards & Loma is more craftier and active in the clinch than Usyk. Usyk tends to be extremely passive here. Pitter patter and old will only work against no footwork bodybuilders
You think "stand and bang" is a viable tactic for Usyk against Fury? The only viable tactic is all footwork and move for 12 rounds solid and it's very likely he is going to get stuck hiding behind his high guard for a lot of the bout getting slapped around. Going to see what a REAL HW king does to a cruiserweight. No bodybuilder. The only thing is Usyk is a slippery fish so Fury might choose to trade and will look sloppy during this process but it will pay off down the line.
You mean losing majority of rounds to Usyk but getting the robbery decision. Just like the first McDermott fight.
I shouldn't even reply, but hey, I'm always ready to educate those in need. "Young man the old man" - You do realise that Fury is only one and a half years younger, right? Also, the way Fury has been living (binge eating, boozing, drugs, weight gain, weight loss, still carrying around 40 lbs of fat, smoking cigars) and the way Usyk has been living (consummate and disciplined athlete lifestyle, living clean as a whistle) are night and day. Fury's whole constitution is in much better shape, mate. Usyk might be older by date of birth but Fury's body has a much more mileage on the clock. "body is getting smashed" - Fury has never been about body shots. That's not his style. He put Wilder on his arse with one but that's Wilder, a stationary, clumsy, one-dimensional fighter with poor balance and coordination. Body shots require closing the distance. Fury is no Beterbiev or Briedis. He would need to get low as well as close to Usyk. He doesn't have the speed, he doesn't have the stamina to do that. And let's not forget about his lack of power. Joshua tried a few body shots against Usyk - the only time he hurt him with it was when it was a low blow. Fury is too slow and too pillow-fisted to hurt Usyk with body shots. "Usyk tends to be extremely passive here." - You don't know what you are talking about. Usyk uses his power and balance to shove opponents away in clinches or he batters them on the inside. Look at the Fa fight, even look at how he shoved Joshua away in the 12th of the first fight. His conditioning allows him to manhandle bigger guys this way, he specifically trains for it. "Pitter patter and old will only work against no footwork bodybuilders" - Fury's footwork and stamina have been in sharp decline since the third Wilder fight. His lifestyle is catching up to him. Whyte and Chisora are too shot, Wilder is too one-dimensional to expose this weakness. Fury will be huffing and puffing in 5 rounds against Usyk. Just look at how knackered Fury looked against Wilder in their third fight by the end. From the fifth round on, it was all Fury. He basically had target practice, Wilder didn't do anything. Fury didn't have to put mental and physical energy into defending and trying to apply some sort of gameplan. It was just hitting Wilder at will. Yet, he was absolutely spent by the 11th. Usyk will run circles around him and Fury will be in massive trouble trying to chase him around. Joshua has better punching power and better stamina than Fury. The ogre will actually be an easier fight for Usyk in the end than Joshua was. You heard it here first, save this post so you can come back to it if and when Shrek finds his balls and finally faces Usyk
The Fury nuthugger is right. Usyk will be hard to hit to the head so Fury will punch the midsection often. Expect uppercuts as Usyk enters or exists before/after a flurry. Usyk reacts far more to body punches than Lomachenko. The only time Joshua bothered Usyk was when the bodybuilder hurt his body. Unlike Haney Fury will be much more confident in wrestling. The size disparity will be monstrous.
Yes. Fury's stamina has been declining heavily in the last 2 years. This "his stamina is superhuman" myth developed because he fought plodders in recent years. If Fury's stamina isn't sh*t, please explain how come that he was barely standing his feet himself by the 11th round of the third Wilder feet, despite the fact that it wasn't a competitive fight at all from the fifth round on. Fury was spent after target practice with Wilder. Usyk will eat him alive.
He did, he's exactly that **upi* with all his usual nonsense. The guy is a pathological liar or facts-twister.
