I got punched in the face once. Muhammad Ali got punched in the face once. These two events were obviously similar.
There's a good chance. Getting humbled and humiliated a bit might even make him more dedicated for a period. It's even possible the bad win doesn't age that bad if this opponent ends up beating a good HW in boxing. His haters are probably celebrating a bit early. He actually showed his chin again, since this opponent has one-punch KO'd a lot of people in MMA. Sugar Hill for Usyk is a bad idea though. Hill isn't smart enough to make a gameplan for Usyk. 'Set up the RH, bam and go home' isn't going to cut it, mate.
Hopefully. He might not be able to get back in shape, unless there is some Rocky-esque hunger in him. The clock ticks, and Fury who won the title based on potshots and pitty pat does not seem to age in the heavyweight manner, with chin and power still carrying him through. The disciplined, God-fearing man Usyk still have some wind in him.
What on earth are you laughing at? You don't think an undefeated heavyweight with wins over Klitschko and Wilder in their own backyards is a top heavyweight?
The 'mental elf' will resurface, he has lost face and did so in a big big way at a prestigious event, with entertainment and sporting greats all watching courtesy of the venues big money owners.
You cannot un-suck a weenie . Once you did it, nothing will erase it, no matter if you make a foursome with prime sharon stone, prime megan fox and prime margot robbie, nothing can erase that you sucked a weenie the same way nothing will ever erase what fury did last saturday no matter what he ever does. That's why it is important not to ever suck weenies and not to act like a ******ed idiot in the ring in front of every single living boxing legend in the world. No ctrl-z for that, dude.
Trouble is being this far along into his career having just done another "fat camp" to lose weight and get in some sort of shape at 35 isn't doing him any favours for his strength and stamina, add all that body abuse and he's a very old 35 year old. He looked in his 40s when he was in his 20s didn't he lol That could possibly be it for fury, can't keep getting away with it, age catches up with everybody and with his size he's probably old af in dog years isn't he, the big dogs are done far younger than smaller dogs, a poor lifetyle , yo-yoing weight, crash diets, drugs, alcohol and boar meat must be one hell of a strain on someone that big!
Fury was in terrible shape and much like Ali before when not in shape they could lose and look terrible. Ali vs Young is prime example of that. Can Fury bounce back I don’t know, 35 is old for his skill set. He is not huge puncher and if he isn’t in shape he is hittable. It is a bad look for Fury now because he clearly ducked the rematch with Wlad. Now it looks like he was avoiding AJ too. And just kept beating up on the fraudulent Wilder. I mean as fun as the 3rd fight was - was it even necessary? Most felt he won the first fight which was a draw, not even a loss and then he demolished Wilder in the rematch. But he gave a 3rd fight anyway. Fury looking like a bit of a snake oil salesman right now. Usyk can’t hurt him so I think they do fight but Fury should get out of the sport after that. He’s ripe to be ko’d now.
We're not all fickle at all. Some of us thought Fury was an overrated, risk averse piece of **** all along.
