The key difference between Fury and Gaye, is firstly heart, and a heart to want to fight, and enjoy fighting.

But even more importantly in this fight at HW- is that Fury is actually a HW. He actually weighs in 250 pounds. In comparison Gaye is naturally running around at 195 to 200 pounds and has to blow himself up to get to 210 or 215 when fighting at HW.

Gaye is simply not a HW. He never was.

Tyson Fury is a HW. He also a very large set of ***** and will look to smash Wlads chin.

Someone that big coming to land on Wlad's chin is a rarity, in his career lets be frank now. Wlad has also been knocked out badly by Corrie Saunders and Lame Brewster, fighters that Fury would have dealt with at the time.

I am sure Wlad is taking this fight very seriously and going to be very careful, especially when he is in the hitting zone.

I would pick Wlad to win via KO. But I would not rule out other scenarios including Wlad being laid flat out on his back and not being able to get back up again

    Let's face it:

Fury lacks the power. Fury lacks the speed. Fury lacks the skill (most importantly). And Fury lacks the Chin to offset those disadvantages. He hasn't shown that he's even ready for this level of opponent yet... and he sure as he11 isn't winning a decision in Germany. Wladimir will outclass and embarrass him.

Wladimir is arguably the hardest man to hit cleanly in boxing. He's mastered the art of not taking solid power shots at all costs. Fury simply being "big" won't cut it in there. He's in for a nap.

Wlad is not hard to hit by people his own size. He was shaken by Wach I think in the 9th, he was shaken by a jab of Pulev in the first and he got hit plenty of times against Thompson.
Unfortunately, apart from that I have to agree with you. The only things that might work in favour of Fury is his size, especially his big reach (if he magically learned to use it effectively) and his unpredictability (fighting dirty and switching stance). I hope he somehow pulls it off. I'd say it's 75 to 25 % in favour of big Klit.

I don't agree with you that this HW era is VERY VERY bad. But I do agree with you that Wilder and Joshua have punching power and are athletic. As far as the people Wlad has fought looking at your thoughts I am guessing that Fury would fit into the inexperienced slot. I don't think Fury will win but he is good and he is crazy. I think he has a chance.

Fury's style will likely see him take more risks. Haye's style has always been to move and slip shots while looking to counter, he's never been the seek and destroy kind of pressure fighter be hoped he would be against Wlad.

Fury is better when he boxes but that's unlikely to work here and so Fury will likely look to make it a rough fight, he's done this before in previous fights. Problem for Fury this could see him KO'ed, he isn't as slick as Haye and his chin seems far from sturdy. So while he may look to pressure more than Haye did all that may do is get him KO'ed quicker.
