Fury’s best wins are obviously Wlad and the Wilder trilogy but he should get much more credit for the manner that he recently defeated Whyte and Chisora.

Whyte has impressive wins over Parker, Povetkin, Chisora, Helenius, Franklin. He was mandatory for like 3 years. He also rocked AJ when they fought.

Chisora lacks big wins, but he always gives a tough fight. The likes of Vitali, Usyk, Parker, Whyte all had to dig deep to beat him.

Tyson beat both without breaking a sweat and that deserves way more credit than he’s received on here.

There's **** all that's impressive about his win over a Covid ravaged gammy kneed Sasha who looked like he'd just climbed off of his ****ing deathbed the day before at the weigh in, he looked three sheets to the wind, as in a stiff gust could've blown him over, for every second of time he was in the ring with Whyte. Which greatly hampered his ability to sit down on a shot. Leaving him as a sitting duck for that tub of lard to tee off on, and even then, he still couldn't score a legit KO.

You mean the guy he got a gift against? So impressive!

    Put it simply

They would never stick Chisora in front of AJ because he has a punchers chance. I'd rather see Chisora have a crack at AJ for 3 rounds than Helenius, Wallin, Francis or that yank bloke

TBH I think wins over Cunningham or Christian Hammer are better than Chisora 3 in 2022. Obviously first two wins were bigger also as Chisora was much fresher and better a decade ago

It was still an impressive win over Chisora. Usyk fought him and looked relieved when the fight was over. He put Parker down as well.

I was really impressed at how comfortably Fury beat him. Even more impressed with the Whyte win.

    So people say.

Yet as I pointed out, outside of Fury, nobody has ever had a really comfortable night with either.

Whytes always been a plodder, but he could be a handful and he's got a much better resume than Wilder...
Yes, Povetkin had sparked him badly in their first fight, despite his advancing years, but Whyte was doing well up until that point - it's a creditable win, and arguably a better one than any of the Wilder wins (especially if looking at resumes).

Chisora 3 isn't worth much, Delboy was clearly declining fast by that point and had already lost to Fury twice... Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me if Chisora could've taken Wilders 0 if he'd got the fight before Fury - his style is all wrong for Wilder and with how overrated Wilder is/was, I really don't think there's as big a gap in levels as common belief would have you think.

    In truth, though...

This post isn't about those two wins being underrated.

It's more about the wins over Wilder being massively overrated.
You'd think Fury had demolished a serious legit contender from how the narrative goes, but he didn't even need to be anywhere near fit to win the 3rd fight and whilst slightly rusty (and unfit) should've won the 1st bout too - Fury's a very very good fighter, but to turn up unfit and win says a lot about the level of the opponent (and not in a good way!).

You have to bring Joshua into every single thread. It must hurt you to know that he walks through Feather fisted fury and stops him if they ever meet.

Anyone remember the nonsense comments he was scared of Whyte.

Whyte would knock him out blah blah.

    Gets destroyed.

I already said this that chisora would have been a better come back opponent and he's fought everyone but and has give everyone a fight bar kabayel and fury.

They are easily better than any opponent aj has fought since ruiz or at least on par

Pulev is ancient himself and both Chisora whyte beat wallin and Ngannou

Also didn't ruiz struggle with 60 year old Ortiz who wilder gets no credit

    Fury doesn’t really get credit for the Chisora win because he beat him twice already;

However if those first 2 fights had never happened, then I agree that Fury should get a good amount of credit for winning every single second of every round and stopping the man who gave Usyk his toughest fight at heavyweight, and won 4-5 rounds against Usyk.

If Usyk had beaten Chisora as easily as Fury had (3 times), his fans would have given him huge credit for it.
