Fury won that fight, amazing performance, but..

Wilder was able to land a devastating combo on him in the 12th. If he can land that combo on easily the most elusive heavyweight this era he can do it to AJ, Whyte, Miller etc. with ease

I'm not sure if there is anyone apart from Fury who can withstand Wilders offence. Maybe Usyk but Breidis was tagging Usyk with 1 2's all night, my gut says Wilder can find a home for his right. And notice how Fury rarely fought southpaw because Wilder seems to be able to find the target against southpaws like he did in the Ortiz fight.

Lol no, coming into this fight everyone knew Wilder would get out boxed but many believed he'd land his bombs and get Fury out of there at some point, I was one of them.

Thing is he did land his bombs, not once but twice and it wasn't enough. He even hit Fury with a monster combination at the end and than couldn't keep Fury down.

So how hard does Wilder really hit? If his power the one thing he has always relied on and boasts about isn't enough to win on this level what does he do? How does he compete if his biggest weapon is not longer a game changer? Wilder was exposed as a one dimensional puncher who has no plan B.

The most elusive heavyweight of this era? That version of Fury was 3 years ago. This one isn't the most elusive in the division at all. He still schooled him despite being half the fighter he was 3 years ago. What does that say about Fury, and more importantly, what does it say about Wilder? Fury was average in those 2 comeback fights, he has a bad trainer and he still dominated Deonkey. Wilder's stock did not rise. Wilder's position is now set in stone. He gets murdered by AJ, it's gonna be a breeze for him as most of us suspected it would be.

Nobody can withstand Wilder's offense. But what they can do is force him to fight on the back foot. And that's what AJ will do to him. Force him to lose balance and break him down. Wilder struggled with the strength of Fury, imagine how it's gonna go against AJ.

Neither man's stock went up. We already knew Fury was the real deal. And we already suspected Wilder was a bum living off his punching power. Both of those statements were proven today. If a fat, past it Fury (And let's be honest, that's what this version of Fury is whether you like it or not) can completely dominate Wilder, then AJ will smash him up within 6.

Do you think Wilder would have landed on 2015 Fury? Absolutely NO CHANCE.

Wilder’s stock dropped. He was exposed by a guy who was out partying for 3 years and had to lose 150 pounds. Without the knockdowns he got outboxed 11-1. By a guy who can’t punch . Wilder is a fraud always has been

Wilder stock gone up as long as he fights the best & helps to find out who is no1 HW.

The thing is, he just lost to Fury after Fury was 3 years on the sidelines and +400lbs 12 months ago. Hes no longer in contention, thus his stocks have gone down. Joshua vs Fury April 13th. Wilder vs Whyte on the undercard.

Wilder's stock went up in the sense that he's become a lot more marketable.

I mean you think about it from the perspective of someone who merely has a passing interest in boxing but didn't catch the fight, the only bit of the fight they might have caught is on the news where they show a clip of him dropping Fury twice, they might then decide to purchase his next fight now he is in their consciousness, or at least watch it in a bar or round some friends.

I thought Wilder conducted himself well before and after the fight, he comes across as very likeable IMO. But I still think he is only the 3rd best HW.

Shpilka and other bums were outboxing wilder as well, but when he landed they were out cold, or were not able to come back. Fury showed amazing chin and recovering abilities. He's a very good boxer and won that fight, but outboxing Wilder doesn't make you a master boxer.
Wilder showed that he can be competitive with any boxer, because of his athletic ability, stamina and power.

I felt Fury won but after re-watching I had closer than I first thought.
Wilder stock has gone up & he took some good shots from Fury,by far the best HWs are AJ/Fury/Wilder.
We boxing fans need these guys to fight each other to find out who is no1.
In a re-match with Fury & Wilder who would I pick I'm not sure atm, well I would not put my house onit.

Wilder vs Whyte. Hes just got schooled by a 3 year off +400lbs 12 months ago Fury without a proper warm up fight. Wilder was his warm up fight for Joshua. Wilder needs to fight Whyte, Miller or Parker. Hes still yet to fight an in prime contender in his whole career. He just had his big fight and lost to a very rusty opponent out of his league. Time to face some genuine contenders.
