Joshua himself said he isn't ready when Fury called him out earlier this year. Fact is Joshua is still a novice and has only been a pro just over 2 years while Fury turned pro probably before Joshua ever stepped into an amateur ring and is now world champion. Joshua still needs time to develop he's only just won the British title, something Fury did over 4 years ago.
Nah I didnt make any predictions on this fight. Fact is Fury has a weak chin. Whyte took immense punishment and somehow, even though he was pretty much a concussed zombie falling around the ring for 6 rounds, managed to stay vertical. Fury would have been smeared all over the canvas after 1round. And don't tell me Fury will run around the ring and throw slappy punches ala the wlad fight and not be caught by Joshua. His defense sucks. He will get caught and go down in a heap. Joshua is a science experiment gone wrong. No one can compete with that. It's disgusting that boxing is allowing such a blatant cheater to compete but it is what it is.
Joshua is nowhere near ready for Fury yet. Joshua is too stationary, too immobile, has too little head movement, and he's literally miles behind in conditioning. Fury stopping him late would be my bet. If I were Fury, that'd be the next big fight I'd take if/when I got past Wlad again. Joshua is still a year or two away from fixing those issues.
At least you admit he is juiced to the gills, but that was not a great performance. He did well to survive round 2 and wear down Whyte.
I've watched him fight for most of his career, pre-steward incarnation included. When has Wlad ever thrown hard crisp uppercuts on the inside or put together a quick sequence of 4-5 punches to the body? He's never done that. He's always just had a jab, lead hook and right cross. He just used to throw more. This isn't to say that Joshua is better at other things.
100% Fury would win this fight. Most of England wouldn't know how to process it if it happened, Joshua is the chosen one for casual fans.
