Fury is the only real test for Joshua, although I'd still have to favour Joshua

Povetkin would be hospitalized against Joshua. It's a total mismatch just because of style and physique. Fury could outbox him, probably.

    Fury is 27 not 26

Fury also got knocked down by a blown up cruiser with a 30%ko ration

Fury also got a gift against big john McDermott

I could do this all day

Fun fact, Fury and Joshua are the same age, one is world champ, other is still fighting domestic level competition

You are only thinking one way though. You are so preoccupied in thinking what Fury could do vs Joshua, what do you think Joshua could do to Fury? Don't deny you think Joshua could put him over. It's narrow minded at this stage to think this is an easy match up either way. People are underrating Whyte's durability terribly.

After facing a fighter that threw no punches back at him, Tyson Fury has turned into the heavyweight Floyd Mayweather overnight . It's apparently impossible for anyone to lay a glove on him. :nut

Fury's punching power and chin don't look too impressive to me. Could see Joshua walking right through him.

Exactly. I love Fury but he will get starched vs Joshua imo. I'm not sure he has the power to keep Johsua off.

Agreed. Because Joshua fought so recently and showed some imperfections, that is at the forefront of their minds and they seem to forget the many times Fury/Wilder etc have displayed imperfections.

Joshua could very well do some damage in the early rounds if he lands on him- he's big, hits hard, and has a nice assortment of power shots between the right and the uppercut. It's not like he's some bum- the potential is real.

I was waiting until today's fight to post about Fury-Joshua because I wanted to see how the rest of Joshua's game stacked up with what we already know- that he's big, strong, and hits hard. I don't dislike him by any stretch.

What I saw is that there's some glaring deficiencies that need to be worked on before he takes that kind of step up- mainly, the lack of movement, stationary head, and lousy conditioning. That doesn't mean he can't fix that and improve- heck, the entire time since them, people kept ragging on Fury for the McDermott and Cunningham fights, all the while Tyson kept working and developing.

Joshua can do the same, but Fury is all wrong for him right now because of the angles, the mobility, the conditioning, head movement, reach, and handspeed. In another year or two, we'll see. But, I hope Joshua uses this fight as a wakeup call. Had Whyte been in 12 round condition, it could've been a story with a completely different ending.

Ultimately, I'd really like to see Joshua drop 10-15 pounds to get lighter on his feet, not be so stiff, and improve his endurance. His strength and power will still be fine.
