http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ets--the-fearsome-world-of-fury-10071077.html “I do like going to the movies, but I like eating tons of sweets and ice cream so I can’t go to the movies any more.” Stop eating the sweets? “What’s the point of going if you can’t do that. My whole life revolves around eating. My idea of a good day out is going for a nice bit of food, going to the movies, stuffing myself full of a load of ****.”
There were a lot of comments made tongue in cheek by Fury in that interview, but the interviewer lapped it up. 'What does it say about the division if a fat gypo can smash them all up?!'
''He's a bum from Romania who can't speak English. Useless he looks to me. He's got two cross eyes and he looks like he should be in a disabled place, never mind in a boxing ring with Tyson Fury'' --Fury on Christian Hammer I think Fury is very entertaining a lot of the time but sometimes he takes it too far. This is another example of it.
Man, Fury in this eras heavyweight Mike Tyson. He's a tortured soul who entertains the masses with his lunacy and he's too mentally immature to handle being champion, like Iron mike was. With that being said, his dark humor mixed with his limey accent is quite entertaining.
He is funny and I enjoy his interviews but he's a boxer. Other boxers get a lot of criticism for overstating how great they are, not fighting elite opponents and for calling out people who they haven't "earned" the right to fight.
This is true But not too many people take him seriously anyway I don't think people give this guy enough credit Hes not nearly as bad as people say he is
I love watching this man fight, but he really coulda put it on Chisora the last time around earlier and had him out of there sooner. It was a solid boxing performance though. I love his charisma, and another reason why i like him a lot is because of the wacky **** he does on the regular 1. Punching himself in the face :rofl 2. Singing after the fight :rofl 3. The constant sarcasm/trash talking in the press conferences 4. The witty remarks that he makes occasionally He is someone we need in the sport of boxing.
I agree plus he is funny and charismatic so he can get away with saying things that others cannot. I like Fury's public persona, he's a good character to have in the sport I just thought I would point out some of the double standards. I also think some people underestimate him (seems to be mainly some Americans and some Wlad fans). I also thought he was not very good when I first saw him fight but he has improved a lot imo since his early fights. That combined with his natural attributes (Size and good handspeed for a man of his size) makes him a guy who is not easy to beat.
