Did anyone notice the first few rounds Tyson looked like he wanted to counter with left hand but couldn't pull trigger but once he got going let it go. Was quite a fascinating fight in a strange way..
It was a Weird thing to do really but that said it was the best fury ive seen, id say. Not because of his stance... but he was composed, in control, less ungainly moments, picked punches nicely, good body shots, good power from short sharp shots Quite surprised at how many people are criticising to be honest
Good luck to the lad even though i don't see him getting past euro-level. Saying that, the gap between domestic and world in todays HW division is very small, so maybe he will win a belt. My biggest gripe with last night was Tyson saying he was a 'world class HW' :?
TBH though when i see Povetkin struggle with Marco Huck and some felt he won i don't see him being to far off it Povetkin is 'world class'. I could see him beating Povetkin with right training camp and mentality to fight.
Yeah i can go along with that, Povetkin is going backwards now it seems and Fury's size would be an issue for him anyway. But like i said the gap is a lot smaller than in years gone by.
He did, good point Rogan may not have been the sternest challenge but fury showed a number of technical improvements IMO and surely thats the name of the game at this stage of his career, improvement
It's also good to keep future opponents guessing. I thought Fury looked much better defensively as a southpaw
There was a brief mention of a potential fight then I got the feeling they were told to avoid mentioning him again
Proabably the best Iven seen of him I was qute impressed, he did seem to pick punches better and more accurately albeit only against Rogan...If he can fight southpaw and orthodox all the better!
