I know that Fury already beat Chisora twice and that it's a favorable matchup for Fury stylistically but Chisora has beaten Pulev, Joyce and Wallin (not really rated high by me but others seem to like him for some reason) and had competitive fight with Usyk in recent years

For Fury to dominate him so easily is an impressive feat

I don’t think Fury needed to fight Chisora a third time.

But I do think that Fury was much more famous their 3rd fight then the first two times. So camp Fury and Camp Chisora probably were like let’s fight and let’s make a lot of money together. It’s not just Fury and Chisora it is their teams as well. They are from the same circuit. They all know each other. So it makes sense they look after each other like that.

And yes a lot of fighters had a much harder time against Chisora then Fury did. That tells you something.

Impressive feat ? Not for a supposed upper echelon world champion it isn't.

It's the kind of win that would be solid for an upcoming contender not a world champion who's already beaten the same opponent twice comprehensively.

Chisora was not ranked in the top 10 when Fury fought him and it was considered a joke of a fight at the time. I dont see why we are trying to alter history and paint a picture that beating Chisora is some amazing feat when it isn't.

You might aswell say Haye's win over Chisora is amazing then since he brutally stopped a younger fresher Chisora in just 5 rounds with a considerable weight disadvantage aswell.

Considering the trouble Chisora has given multiple fighters even in this era I would say they were underrated.

I still felt the 2022 fight was sort of pointless OTOH.

If AJ had taken the fight we wouldn't have needed to have that one. Just a reminder that he had no belts and had lost twice and was offered a title fight with over two months notice and did everything he could to make it difficult.

Also, if AJ had beaten Chisora it would be rated as a good win, just like Wallin was and the MMA fighter. It's pretty transparent, the media agenda. I mean all AJ has to do is beat fighters Fury was criticised for fighting and he has done an amazing thing.

Chisora is a B fighter in this 'era' but it's pretty obvious he'd beat a lot of the old heroes people have. For example he was known as some kind of poor man's Frazier but he'd obviously beat Frazier. There's no way Chisora gets destroyed by Foreman like Frazier did.

Chisora is only having success because this eras talent pool is shallow, otherwise he would've been forced out years ago. He was a contender in the Klitschko era

Wallin sucks, Joyce is done and Pulev were old. Pulev schooled a prime Chisora which is a testament to his decline, because obvious Chisora hasn't gotten better, he's borderline shot with massive amounts of wear and tear

Hilarious. Chisora got a **** majority decision against a forty something Pulev. Fury fighting him was a cowardly duck of any live body.

The Chisora III and Whyte wins are very strong. Each of them, for instance, is a better individual win than Joshua has in the last 6 years, yet we are constantly told how great a resume Joshua has.

Importantly, it's the WAY in which the fights were won: Fury hit and did not get hit, and won the fights via stoppage.

Good point nobody has given Chisora or Whyte such a one sided hiding as Fury did.

Whyte is a little polarizing but Chisora did not deserve a shot when he fought Fury for the title. He was 1-3 in his last 4 with a split decision in his most recent fight. It was a tuneup fight for a champion coming out of retirement. Theres also very seldom a reason to fight someone you've beaten twice a third time.

Nope... Context here is everything. Chisora IS a good win for anyone. But Fury had already beaten him, twice. And, at the same time, was proclaiming himself to be the greatest HW of his generation (and all time) while shamelessly avoiding the Usyk fight. He was engaging in this pointless trilogy and fighting an MMA guy instead of taking on his biggest rival(s). And fans called him out on it. The only good thing about Chisora 3 is that the backlash helped force his hand to finally face Usyk.
