4 days from now Fury will be out of the ring for 2 whole years, and 2 years and 9 months since aledgedly the sample popped that started all this against Christian Hammer (who fights Povetkin next month).
Since then we had Fury popping for cocaine and refusing a test, which obviously weakened his position, and constant resceduling of UKAD hearings.

Now in December (no official date given) there should finally be a conclusion to this part of the soap opera, because according to the BBBoC even in the event Fury gets cleared, it isn't certain they will grant him a renewal of his licence because of mental and physical issues that need to be adressed first.

At least there will be some clarity about his chances to return, and wether or not the Hammer fight will be overturned long after the fact.

It's crazy it's taken this long. Honestly guilty or not of doping his career has been side lined long enough that he should be allowed to fight again.

Why on earth it's taken this long to replace one of the panel who supposedly had conflicting interests and had to be removed is a total mystery. I suspect Fury's lawyers are going to take UKAD to the cleaners for this shambles and rightly so.

I was very pro UKAD before and anti Fury throughout this whole story but now it's pretty clear UKAD have ****ed up somewhere along the way it should have never taken this long for Fury to get his NADP hearing. The fact UKAD went to the government asking for help in case they lose a law suit from Fury speaks volumes.

The fact he got 'charged' with it 16 months after the test is very very suspicious imo

Fact is Hughie and Tyson were tested positive. That's all we need to know.

Actually it's not, same thing happened with Thompson too, the delays in charges where due to legal action Thompson was throwing at UKAD in the back ground. I suspect Fury was doing the same, hence why there was such a huge gap in time from the failed test and the charges being made formal.

Tyson clearly lied a lot early on about not knowing he had been charged when UKAD confirmed he had just been told the day before. He was doing a bad job of covering up the scandal and his excuses changed from it possibly being a supplement to then coming from contaminated boar he and Hughie had eaten.

I have no doubt he and Hughie failed a doping test, question is was his reasons for the failed test valid and did UKAD follow proper procedure to ensure the charges laid could be proven.

Up to the point of the last hearing being cancelled I didn't really think anything was unexplainable, but it's taken 7 months or so to pick a new panel member, that ****ing stinks and suggests UKAD possibly ****ed up somewhere along the way.

Well that didn't really clarify anything. BBBoC and UKAD saying they were awaiting Fury and his team to decide on a date for the new hearing all this time but Fury's team saying this wasn't the case and that they were told there would be a hearing in Oct 2017 when Fury wasn't available for some reason and only now have they been told about the date for this hearing in Dec.

Who do we believe, neither side has much credibility at this stage. Either UKAD have been a bunch of muppets for allowing this to be delayed by Fury for so long or Fury has been spinning tales from the start to stall a final decision. It could be both to be fair.

    Small update:
According to UKAD/BBBoC, Team Fury got notified 7 months after the fact (extremely late, but not nearly as late as suggested), which Fury denied one day after receiving it. And it was Team Fury that took so long to rescedule the date. True? Dunno.

i know, think thats because it says "we've been advised not to comment by our lawyers" so maybe thats why they didnt go into detail. think the fact that BBBofC are worried of going bankrupt as a result of this case says a lot though

Thompson was banned but tried to stop them revealing it. I think this case may be different

Imagine if Fury said the deeply racicst things that Joshua did? Notice how the media has mostly ignored it, trying to act like it is not a big deal and hope it will blows over. F the scumbag media.

The media hyped Tyson as one of the worst people on the planet for quoting the bible and making a joke about women in the kitchen. And kicked Tyson when he was down over and over and over. But legit race supremacy from A.J and the media is trying to sweep it under the rug. :flipa:
