    Just read some absolute comedy

people calling joshua ortiz and wilder glass jawed but one guy saying fury has the best chin in boxing lol, agenda driven nonsense same old on here

Devastating puncher (not) pajkic almost koed fury with a massive KD right hook

Chisora rocked him also not a big puncher

Dropped by cunningham same way pajkic did

Put down heavily also by Firtha

I'm not saying fury has a glass chin, but how can someone say aj or ortiz has and fury hasn't?

    all agenda driven posters

anyone can be koed in boxing

    discuss

Fury got up and won those fights by ko

Wilder was almost ko'ed by a check jab and Joshua was dazed as hell of 1 left hook

As for Ortiz his chin is good now shut the hell up

this is true, but why are you saying they have glass jaws? when clearly they don't as long as your not price in terms of chin you'll be ok

Wilder clearly has all the signs from Ko'd badly in the amateurs and being wobbled in the pros of a glass Jaw

Joshua- Ko'd by Nistor, dropped by Whyte in the pros, wobbled badly by Whyte, Ko'd in sparring by Price and Okolie... It seems he has a dodgy chin too

Ortiz - wobbled by Malik scott the most feather fisted heavyweight, and he's Cuban!.. theres never been a cuban heavyweight ever who had a granite chin

Fury has not got the best chin, but neither do the other top heavies. Parker probably has the best chin out of the top ranked guys.

Pulev doesn't have a good chin, you can't call Povetkin's good either. Both have been down and buzzed. Wach yes, but I don't regard him as a top heavyweight.

Fury doesn't have the best chin but when his head is screwed on the right way he can keep his head out of harms way. Much like Wlad he knows he's weak chinned so he avoids direct exchanges.

It's funny the three fighters mentioned don't have a loss to their name in a combined 70 fights so they must have decent chins... lol. I'm pretty sure Fury is the only one who has tasted canvas but that's not a negative as he got up to win. It must be nice to know you can win after being dropped, that the senses are not scrambled beyond repair. Okay, Cunningham and Pajkic are not big punchers but Fury still knows he won't fall to pieces when hurt. And getting dropped by Cunningham taught him not to be lazy when in range. It was a learning fight.

But as for AJ.... apart from a fairly solid counter by Whyte which wobbled him, he's never been chin-checked. And how he reacts when he is, will remain a mystery until it happens. Which it will. Matchroom have failed him in his match making and then the first sign of a Wembley bout where they can make real money on their investment and they throw him under a bus. Of course, he might win. But his whiskers haven't been tested yet. Step forward Dr Steelhammer.... there's a chin to check.

Fury was hit pretty hard with Cunninham ,knocked off balance while unfocused standing straight with little base rom his leg positioning . The way he got up tells me he wasnt even fazed ...maybe shocked?

Joshua got caught with a shot he didnt see which is even worse . AFTER that left (all 2 seconds ) he was out striking Whyte and smiled throughout the fight when hit .

Mike Tyson was never k.od by Razor Ruddock who hit like a freight train but was k.od by Douglss after repeated head shots for several rounds (Douglas jab was powerful) and buckled back by Tucker upper cut . Tyson when Mentally strong was very hard to k.o ...though was also never knocked down by a Holyfield by a monster left hook (he ran into ....and TOOK over 200 punches from Lewis before falling .

Tommy Morrison and Razor Ruddock hit eachother with shots that would knock down buildings ..... Weak chin is subjective some guys simply have a particular spot they get hurt from a certain punch .

Just a few examples by guys that have bad rep of weak chins ....in Furys case he did take one solid Wlad shot but that was rnd 12 not rnd 1 . But theres no actual evidance to say he has a weak chin, He was never staggered or hurt . Knock downs happen and even knock outs but it in all likely hood,it takes a hard enough shot to k.o either Joshua or Fury ,taking shots goes beyond chin, it also involves conditioning (the more you are the longer you can take shots ) and mental strength (sometimes) ! IM pretty sure if Joshua gets k.od by Wlad ,ppl will say hes chinny and disregard he can k.o anyone .

Wilders chin does seem shaky to me bc he hes getting hit off balance and doesnt react well , his eyes look glassy when hit and we will see how he reacts in the Whyte fight.

Fury's chin is like most things about the man, an enigma. He reminds me alot of Ali, kdd twice and hurt by lesser fighters in the earlier part of his career before his first title shot against a powerful champ everyone expected to ko him. But he used his size, craftiness and speed to beat him, and his chin held up well in the process too. Ali went on to show an ATG chin despite his start, so it's not inconceivable that fury could have too. But do to the man's demons, we may never know.
